Locally grown foods fresh each day, prepared to ity. From the moment you enter you are treated as home folk. now it gets interesting, the food a sampling of European style cooking with the Michigan hospitality as an extra. Fantastic food, spirits yet sets well with the total family.

The last place I expected to find a dining establishment with such a foreign flair outside of Europe was in Boyne City! I may as well have been sitting enjoying lunch in Nice, Bern or Strasbourg. The moules avec frites were excellent and the ambiance was comfortably real.

These are the places I love to find when on vacation. Great view of the lake, really good food and talented musicians entertaining the crowd. High end pub atmosphere but not pretentious. All of our entrees were great. We were here three times during the week. Once just for the music and drinks at the bar.

I loved how lively this place was. We had great service. There were lots of families. Very casual. All entrees were good except the rack of lamb, which was tough, probably due to the provider and not the preparation. Wines are either from Michigan or Europe, so if you are looking for California or Australia, you are out of luck.... More

One of the nicer choices if you're in Boyne City. Steak Frites is the way to go. Good place to take a date. Entertainment/music in the summer. Right by the lake. A little pricey vs your usual burger joints in the area. But, if splurging, go there.

Fun brunch, cater to the boaters (location is a few step walk from Marian, in core of "downtown" Boyne City. Good food, pleasant service by full timers augmented by the usual college kids doing summer work. Enjoy the meal, just know it's popular in summer season.

First time going the other night. My husband has eaten here a few times prior and has never had something he didn't like. Very European. I would go again.

Really enjoyed the food here- we shared some mussels to start... Delicious. Also a pate maison/ charcuterie plate. Even kids tried both and enjoyed. My husband and I had the Beef Burgandy that was very good. Kids were also happy with their choices. Liked the house carafe wine choices. Reasonable and good. Wish we had a place like this in... More

My wife and I joined friends for dinner at Cafe Sante. I had the beef bourguinon and it was excellent. Wine list is a bit short on American wines from states other than Michigan but the French selection is fairly extensive. Our party also enjoyed the seasonal selection, a duck confit pierogi (the area has an extensive Polish history) with... More

After being on the road vacationing for 9 days, this restaurant was a real pleasure! I had a well conceived entree salad featuring their august fresh blueberries. Greens, mango, Schropshire blue cheese blueberries and honeyed walnuts. My husband had a nice woodfire oven baked Pizza Margarhita. Great view of Lake Charlevoix from our outdoor seating.
