Nice time

We met some friends here on a Friday night. They did have call ahead seating as their were a total of 7 of us. We arrived and were seated promptly. The service was excellent. The food was very good as well as the drink selection. The atmosphere was nice. It is little bit on the expensive side.

We were seated on the outdoor patio, it was nice and shady, quite comfortable when the temperature was in the 70's. The food was another matter, we were not pleased with what we ordered at all. French Onion Soup was extremely salty, Classic Maurice Salad had too much dressing on it. Both the Moose Chopped Chicken Salad and the Salmon... More

Our dinner covered a wide range of ages all of whom enjoyed their meal, the interesting range of drinks and the good service. We sat under cover outside where we warned by a rather large roof heater (not everyone was cold but we accepted others were) although we could've sat outside under the tree. The menu was interesting with good... More

The Moose Preserve with it's rustic decor and down to earth atmosphere, is a great spot for lunch, dinner or just a drink. Seating was quick at the time I was there. The menu has a great selection of hearty fare including wild game, as you might expect. There's also salads, sandwiches, burgers and more. I had the Classic Maurice... More

Dined here for a business meeting and the food, service and atmosphere were all conducive to a pleasant meal and great business discussions. The first thing I noticed as I entered the establishment was the entry was lined from ceiling to floor with pictures of dogs. As we were led to our table the hallway continued the same theme of... We like the Moose year round but especially in the summer when we can sit on the patio or deck outside. We went there last night and all four dinners were very good. In my opinion, Moose isn't a five star restaurant but it is consistently a very good place to eat. Our tab for 2 Salmon dinners, one Prime... More

This is a good choice for hungry diners and those who like to take home leftovers - the portions are huge. Fortunately, the food is also very tasty. I had one of the specials of the evening (herb seasoned tilapia cooked on a cedar plank) and it was delicious. The service was excellent - friendly, and fast, but we didn't... More

About a dozen of us had lunch here on a Saturday afternoon. We had several appetizers, a variety of entrees and dessert. Everything was delicious. The waitress was friendly and attentive. Love this place!

The surrounding area has a lot of upscale and expensive restaurants. Moose Preserve provides a laid back experience with delicious food while being very affordable. Everything on the menu is tasty. Especially the French Onion Soup and the venison chili. If you are tired of paying an arm and a leg to eat out in this area, check out the... More

The place has been there over 25 years. So they must be doing something right. Great service, decent food and HUGE portions make the Moose Preserve a dependable option. A good meeting spot at the corner of Woodward and Square Lake Road.
