Had a quick lunch here and the waitress, Cat, could not be more helpful. If you park in the lot you get two hours free parking, I used the meters on the street. The place has been here for 11 years. Super fresh seafood in my seafood salad w/crab Louie sauce. Freshly baked sourdough bread on the side. Nice.

A very simple and tasteful restaurant which presents no surprises. Food quality is above average, presentation is average, wait service is attentive and prompt, almost too prompt, desserts are huge and sinful, too much but enough to share. Prices are above average for this family oriented restaurant.

Good food an all but some of the wait staff is very unprofessional in regard some people don't apricate the staff hovering over them while they are eating...I've had the wait staff even pull up a chair to the table...

My tweens like it here so it is a good option for a family dinner ( but not for young children) .We've dined here at least 50 times. Friendly (but not perfect) service, and good food. The staff remembers frequent customers. A good reliable restaurant in Birmngham.

It's hard to find a nice place to go with the whole family. This fits the bill. Always plenty of places to sit, I've never had to wait. Great service. Enough action to keep the kids busy between the street traffic and the lobster tank. Prices seems reasonable and the food is very good. Give it a try

We live in Birmingham and often find ourselves going to the same restaurants all of the time. We had not been to Mitchell's in a few years, but decided to try it again. Maybe we are too accustomed to the high prices at the local steakhouses, but we found Mitchell's to be good value. We both ordered off the seasonal... More

We reserved the private dining room for my partners birthday with 16 guests. The table arrangement was a bit tight although we managed just fine. The wait staff was very attentive and the food and drinks were wonderful. If you enjoy high end seafood, this is the place to go!

We have not been here for several years, and we're very sorry to see how rundown this has become. It badly needs renovating and general maintenance- burned out light bulbs, sagging benches in the booth, etc. It is also lacking on thoughtful accessibility for handicapped patrons. That being said, our dinners were quite good, however, the service was mediocre at... More

I've been to the Livonia and Birmingham locations numerous of times. The one good thing I can say about both locations: consistency. The food, in particularly the Salmon, is always great.
