Elie's has always been one of my favorites! It is small and elegant with a very impressive selection of Middle Eastern cuisine. I have been there for lunch as well as dinner, and the service has been equally excellent. Very beautiful, very delicious and one of my very favorites!

I love their fatoush salad, so fresh and crispy and perfectly seasoned! The humus and baba are always superb, and the fresh and hot pitas are perfect! The mango smoothies are delicious as well.

My husband and I ate here for the first time on Saturday night, and really enjoyed ourselves. I had the mediterranean chicken and rice, he had the tawook, we split the Baba Ghannouge, and everything was delicious (especially the Baba). The dressing that they brought out for their house salad was also great. The decor was beautiful. Our server was... More

As always my reviews encompass more than food , what about price , what about expectations ? It is downtown Birmingham , a small place. Packed soild on a Saturday night. Nothing notable about the atmoshpere ,nothing negative. Expect a polite crowd . Women 4 to 5 inch heels , well dressed , men casual. Here is the issue dinner... More

Our first experience with Lebanese cuisine was an accident because the wait next door was too long. We really lucked out. This is a typical small restaurant bar serving good food. We enjoyed Chicken Pot Pie, Lamb Shank and Prawns (in Michigan?). All were very good. Street parking in downtown Birmingham is at a premium, but a free (evening) parking... More

Stopped in for lunch in this pretty restaurant and was delighted with a large selection on the menu. We enjoyed some of our dishes so much that I asked if the chef would share her secrets. To our surprise and delight, she came out to meet us and explained why our Mujadra never comes out very good and the steps... More

This place had charm, ambience, great service and delicious food. We will certainly return. The mixed shawarma was especially tasty and the hot, freshly baked pita was wonderful. Leah, our server was very friendly and went the extra mile to give us great service.

Birmingham and Michigan are known for Middle Eastern food. We love Elies for lunch. Great salads and the best majadra we ever had. Service is fast and in the summer you can sit outdoors.
