This is one of my Favorite spots. Almost without fail I use this Restaurant for Diners with clients. The Food is terrific, Service top notch, and the Russian Ale!!!! Well, all I can say is that I usually bring a Growler home. I wonderful evening topped off with a great Scotch selection and a first rate cigar. Simply Perfection! more
We celebrated my wife's birthday on August 7th. We could not have chosen a better place to celebrate that day. Our server, Melinda, was outstanding. She knew how to match our tastes to the menu. We went to dine at the Big Rock because of its reputation for fine food and as a "must go to" restaurant. What we found was a restaurant where people smoke cigars while eating, families play cards at the table while eating, and a noise level (conversation and loud Muzak) that made conversation impossible. I have been here a few times for drinks with my friends but I did eat here once with my husband and I thought we received a large portion for the amount we paid. I ordered an 8 oz and we had potatoes au gratin as a side and there was definitely plenty to share. Compared to other nicer steak... more

I've been here for business and casual. The last time I was here was for business and the food and drink spread was great! Lamb,Crab, bignets and more. Good spot for special gatherings. more
