I cannot figure out where all these great reviews are coming from. Are they all friends of the owners or something? We went here because of the good reviews and boy were we disappointed! This place is awful! Very cheap looking and not very clean. The service was bad and the staff was just short of rude. The food was... More

Don't drive by from the looks of the outside, it is like going to someones cabin up north. The food we had was excellent! Husband had Blacken Salmon, w/soup and potato and I had a Lake Perch Sandwich w/choice of fries or coleslaw. We met the Mrs Owner and found out why it is named Oscar and Joey, It was... More

My family and I went up to birch run looking for a good local joint. That didn't really happen. The service was nothing special, below average if anything. When we walked in there was a dusty, dirty smell. Food was nothing but average. Their claim to fame is their wild game dishes. I had the Al-E-Gator, it was drowned in... More

We went to Oscar and Joey's after my grandsons church play. Every place in Frankenmuth was packed. My son said, "I know where we can go". So, we headed to Birch Run! They serve quite a bit of wild type meat plates along with regular foods, such as salads and burgers. We tried fried pineapple served with an Asian dipping... More

After a very long, hard day doing maintenance on the family farm, we found this place close to our hotel. Excellent food. Excellent variety. And a full bar.

Tender whitefish with a crunch from the pecans; this was a delicious dinner. My salad was very fresh and served on a cold plate. The atmosphere is quite relaxed. The decor was early hunter. I sat facing AWAY from the animal heads.

Chef Dixie Dave can prepare just about any wild game meal you can think of. Blueberry walleye, elk, buffalo, sportsman platter, louisiana bayou is his signature meal. Wash it down with a Honkers Ale, or a fine wine. Liqour served. Cozy dining room makes for a family atmosphere. Don't forget to bring a photo (framed) of your dog for the... More
