We were staying on Crystal Lake in a cottage and could easily walk in to town for breakfast. We got our bagels to go and walked a block down to the beach at sat at the tables there to eat breakfast with a view. Friendly service here at this bakery/deli. The selection was average, though if you don't go early... More

The best peppered roast beef. The swiss cheese is not to be believed as it is out of this world.. Wide range of sandwiches, wide enough to appeal to anyone's tastes. Get there early as they might run out of bread.

The bagels are terrific, the vibe is good, the spreads are delicious, and I am just really glad that the place exists. Grab a sandwich and head down to the Crystal Lake Beach. It's the best!

If you want to know the guy doing the preparation this is the place. They do a great job! Try there made from scratch in house bagels. Any sandwich will go great on them. ; )

They serve breakfast and lunch! Both are delicious! Their bagels are wonderful! My favorite thing there is their Curry Chicken Salad!

We eat often at L'Chayim my wife and enjoy the atmosphere and the food quality we get there. We appreciate the fact that the fact that we can get quality cheeses and meats and not have to go to Traverse City to get it. The Bagels they bake are the best ever to say the least!

Not a kosher deli (ham...what?!), but a great up-north paen to a big-city deli. Their bagels, which come in an assortment of flavors, are delicious, as is their rye bread. Great sandwiches too -- I like the curried chicken salad.

Wanted a local place to eat while in Beulah. Previous reviews looked good & we weren't disappointed. I had the West Bank1/2 size & my partner had a full size Bergs (so much he ate the other 1/2 the next day). We had a chicken soup with capers that was on special and was outstanding! Lots of chunks of white... More

Great tasting sandwiches and side dishes. My sandwich had very generous portions of meat and cheese. The tabouli salad was delicious. It was everything that I was hoping to find in an authentic Jewish Deli.
