3rd year of going to toonies after playing 27 at shanty creek. Very mom and pop feel, food is always good. Homemade desserts are always tasty!! Priced right and perfect setting for a chill dinner.

Food was horrible. Was served cold and in-edible. Would never recommend to anyone. Go to Shorts Brewery down the road. Poor management and poor wait staff make for an uncomfortable meal. Could hear our waitress yelling at someone in the kitchen. Felt bad for our hostess. Seemed like a nice girl. Waitress seemed to be aggressive toward her like she... More

The restaurant needs some updating and service was average, however, the food was delicious. All of the people in our party enjoyed our dishes.

Toonies has a full menu including a children's menu. Nightly specials that are excellent. We usually have dinner there with friends weekly.

Nothing on the menu screamed out as unique, but the food was good and the service very nice. My wife and I both got the slow roasted prime rib, and it was tasty. But no horse radish?

Food was good, fish was fresh-caught daily. I had the steak special which was tasty, but should have got the fresh fish. The sweet potato fries were super! They make their cake fresh everyday. I had the chocolate cake-yummy!

We had a nice value meal of sandwiches on a Friday evening with solid service and delicious food preparation. The desserts were a very nice surprise. We came back the next night for another round of dessert here after a nice meal at another restaurant. Hint: Ask for the Reeses Peanut Butter pie.
