The food is very tasty and the menu is well rounded. Something for everyone. Their salads are nice and fresh, the ribs are excellent and fish taco appetizers are enough to be your entree. They are my favorite and we are headed there right now! Yum!

We ate here twice during our stay in bellaire and really enjoyed the food here! Soups were delicious and all of their food was great and filling. It was nice to have some basic foods made right!! We enjoyed the fresh bread with every meal, steaks and fish. We would definitely go back.

My husband and I enjoyed a delicious rib dinner for our anniversary. Our server was excellent and would recommend this restaurant if you are visiting the quaint town of Bellaire

Back here on our annual trip and first place we had to stop at was Toonies. As has been in the past, service was excellent and the food was delicious. Large portions so it is hard to save room for dessert, but be sure to save room for the carrot cake which is to die for.

Typical local hometown restaurant. Food was OK, but not outstanding. Good price. I had their Toonies rib dinner. The ribs were tasty and the meat fell off the bone, the garlic mashed potatoes were alright, but the asparagus was bland and slightly over cooked.

Went there for fish while on vacation. I found the food to be very ordinary. My perch were over cooked and my wife's walleye was under cooked. Having lived in Wisconsin where there are dozens of bars and supper clubs that serve Friday fish, I have had some of the best and am spoiled.

We visited Toonies for breakfast. It's pretty hard to screw up breakfast. I had eggs hashbrowns and ham. Decent portion, enough to satisfy. I thought the hashbrowns were kind of bland. My wife ordered oatmeal with cherries. She really liked it and there was plenty of it. She couldn't finish it. Omelette looked kind of flat but our friend said... More

The fish we had was so fresh. You rarely get this quality of food at this price. It was very reasonable, and has a great view of downtown Bellaire. Very ladi bak and relaxing atmosphere.

While dining there recently, I was served grilled Great Lakes Whitefish. The portion size was great but the fish was not fresh. It had a nasty, fishy, off flavor that made it inedible. The waitress posed the usual defenses about having served several without complaints and trying to tell me that Whitefish is a stronger-flavored fish (not true at all).... More
