Typical Local Joint

After our somewhat snobby greeting at Shorts Microbrewery, we headed out the next day to the Bellaire Bar to taste a more local flavor. Its your basic bar with both high and low tables surrounding it. They offered about 10 beers on draft including many Michigan ones as well as a full service... read more

Loved the bar and watching the MSU/Alabama game. Too bad they lost. The picture of my beer says it all!

We love going to Bellaire Mi. We had not tried Bellaire Bar & Restaurant and their menu sounded good. We sat at the bar as we do a lot when we are by ourselves as it is fun talking with the bartenders and the locals, but not tonight. The bartender was quite unpleasant & didn't want to answer even a... More

Nothing much wrong about this place if you are looking for good service, drinks and food. We have had to wait a few times at busy nights like Friday's, but that is okay because the waitstaff, the bartenders and the kitchen are on the ball. Fish on Friday's, plenty of it if you want. Go for a burger if you... More

The atmosphere at the Bellaire Bar and Restaurant is not fancy, but the hamburgers and drinks are good and reasonably priced/

Went their as Shorts was packed and line to long. Was surprised at the good food. Pool tables, televisions for all the sports. Nice wait staff and good prices on food and adult beverages.

Sandwich was brought to me. I did not see the place. But the sandwiches were good. My BLT was on chibatta bread.

Great place for a burger and a beer. Chicken wings are good too. Fun atmosphere to watch sports. Had a fun time with all the MSU fans as we watched them beat Oregon. Pam our bartender was good. Definitely laid back and casual which we loved. Went there because Shorts has no tv's. Would go back again on our next... More

Every time we have eaten at the Bellaire Bar we have enjoyed our meal and the up North atmosphere. I would call it really good bar food with awesome olive burgers! Always have some Michigan Micro Beers on tap which is a must!

Normally I don't mind small town bar food or the atmosphere but this was awful!!! From the sticky, Yucky feeling door handles on the exterior rear entrance door (because parking is behind the building) to the sticky, seats & tables I knew this was not going to result in a return visit. My initial impression caused me to think "what... More
