The lunch buffet is the bomb!! Their pulled pork and chicken melts in your mouth. The Mac and cheese is so southern style yummy

Remember that really good bbq that you ate on your last trip south? That not fussy, always friendly kind of place that's a meat-lover's dream...we've got that here in Battle Creek (and Sonny has opened a second pit in Kalamazoo). This place was small and didn't look like much from the outside but the food was great. My wife and I shared a full slab with 2 sides. The ribs were great the sides were just ok. Don't be shy because its kinda tiny inside - this is great stuff! 6 guys stopped by for dinner during golf trip in area - EVERYONE LOVED IT! The sampler platter has plenty of food. also recommend the beans. YUM!!!!

First time. We had the Dinner for 2 Mixed Plate. Bbq sauce was good. Ribs were a little tough. Perhaps slowwww cook them longer. Chicken was dry and not much bbq sauce on it or the pulled pork. We enjoyed Hogzilla Catering at a wedding reception last summer and then decided to try the restaurant itself. For BBQ it is the best. You know when you walk in the place--the hickory smoke flavor tempts your taste buds on the spot! We have had the brisket, pork, chicken, and ribs--ALL delicious, tender GREAT tasting BBQ! This is a compliment--I'm from Kansas City ;). We know good BBQ! Tasty side dishes also. Not fancy inside but great food & service!

Well worth the stop. They have a great buffet with amazing BBQ on it. Pulled Pork, Pulled Chicken and Pork Bites, etc... Nice selection of Beer as well. Very nice staff.
