Serendipity! Great atmosphere, fun setting, great view of downtown. Wonderful selection of craft beers and house drinks. The Black Irish Dip was a hit at our table, as well as the loaded potato skins. The fish and chips were prepared to perfection. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Reasonably priced dinner and drinks. Looking forward to returning in the... More

We stopped at the Griffin for dinner when a power outage affecting other parts of town caused Arcadia Ales to close. On entering, we noticed a nice, friendly pub-type atmosphere. The restaurant was very busy, and our waitress told us that they were the only place in town with power that evening. She seemed to do her best to be... More

Classic pub fare and also a few unexpected surprises thrown in for good measure. An extensive brew collection. Worth a trip, we stop by every couple of months or so.

Went here for dinner early on a Friday night. Got seated and served right away. Had the Beef Brisket. It was great! Came with a six-pack selection of sauces, three bottled and three home-made. Great selection of micro-brews.

The waitress that we have is not friendly, like ... at all. Ordered drinks, appetizers and dinner. The drinks took awhile to come out and our appetizer took so long I was going to pay for just our drinks and leave. As I was getting up our appetizer finally came. We didn't really get a real reason as to why... More

I love the bar area in the Griffin more so than the food area. I did have a meal there once and I found it ok but this is a great pub restaurant for meeting in or for special occasions. Great selection of alcoholic beverages on draught and their bar is so cool!

Went for dinner for the first time in several years. I got a burger on a pretzel bun which was perfectly cooked (medium) juicy and very tasty. Other meals were fish tacos, salad, and the Reuben. We ordered the black bean dip with homemade frocasia bread and the steak bites. Most was pretty tasty, the person that got the Reuben... More

Just eat at the Griffin and it will be the last time. The food was nasty but the service was good. Don't eat there just drink and maybe eat the wings

I stopped at the beginning of happy hour so the pub was not busy yet. Had the Friday special: corned beef and cabbage. Excellent, a must try. Great beer selection and good service.

After going to Arcadia Brewery earlier for lunch we tried here for dinner. Should have tried somewhere else. First had to walk through the cloud of smoke from the smokers right at the entrance. The service was slow, the food took quite awhile to get. I had the fish and chips which were pretty decent . Others had the Reuben... More
