Had the sirloin and grilled shrimp. Food was done perfectly. Service was excellent. Definitely a restaurant to check out while in BC.

From the first time I ate there to the present the food is good and the menu will take you forever to choose from. I mean the menu is huge! It's in an old train station down town and really quaint. Menu prices are quite reasonable to feed a whole family and portions are good. If you like a good... More

I have seen the billboards for this place for years. We finally stopped in this weekend. Sure glad we did. The service provided by the owner and his staff was excellent. We loved the atmosphere. I ordered the Black and Blue Sirloin. It was without a doubt one of the best steaks I have ever had in my life. The... More

I felt this restaurant had it all and will definitely go back anytime I'm in Battle Creek. The historic building makes for a lovely atmosphere along with the great location along the scenic river. We went in the evening and the entire area was lit up beautifully. Although it was chilly and we didn't sit outside, the outdoor area was... More

This is a renovated train station next to the river downtown Battle Creek. Nice walk along the river after dinner. A mix of food with fish tacos to pasta to steak. Pleasant staff. Definitely recommend this for dinner

Wish I had found this little gem before I ate at a fast food joint. It is an old train station converted into a quaint restaurant. Has a nice outside seating area and seemed to be kept very clean. I only had dessert and a chocolate martini. My martini and warm apple pie with vanilla ice cream was awesome. The... More

We enjoy the restaurant not only for the variety of food, but more importantly for the consistency of quality and the friendly service. With such a large menu, everyone in your party will find something to enjoy. When the weather permits, outdoor seating lets you enjoy the sun.

Clara's is inside the old Battle Creek railroad depot and has been kept as original as possible. You can feel the daily hustle and bustle that was the train travel era. Private dining areas that were ticket booths, offices and lobbies keep you wonderning about or remembering the activity that was the "good ole days". Food is great with a... More

Clare's hosted a wedding rehearsal luncheon for my niece's recent wedding. They had a nice, separate space for the event, and the food was wonderful. The staff was quickly responsive to our requests.
