Awesome complimentary hot popovers and marinated mushrooms while you wait for your dinner .....just like the old Pier 4.

Really awesome marinated mushrooms...not the kind from some bottle. Also, the hot popovers are absolutely to die for. The lobster Newburg was very tasty. The baked stuffed lobster was filled with lobster meat and toasted bread crumbs. I enjoyed it but I have had better for close to forty dollars... read more

Anthony's Cummaquid is a throwback to the old Cape Cod. It may not look it from the outside, but inside you'll find an historic old inn with cool artifacts and a great view of Cape Cod Bay. Food was amazing, especially the popovers and the service was perfect . Kids raved about the meal. Dennis House and Kara Sundlun. Full... More

Went recently to the Cummaquid Inn and I and my guests were delighted with our meals. I hadn't been there in a long time, and I'm so glad we went. They have some dinner specials that were great deals. The food, service, and drinks were delicious and generous. Worth going if you haven't been there lately.

If you are looking for a place that reflects Olde Cape Cod, this is the place! We stumbled upon Anthony's on a Sunday drive. While proceeding up the driveway, you see anchors, and their chains, then a huge house comes into view. There is a Naval Ship's bell in front of the mansion, when you proceed into the house/restaurant, you... More

Marinated mushrooms, fresh baked rolls, popovers, and that's before your order. Plus, they know how to make a mean martini and vodka gimlet. Yes, the parking lot is a big mess, and the carpet looks like it's been there for 30 years. But the fish is impeccable and service is outstanding.

We went to Anthony's for dessert and drinks with another couple and it was a bitter disappointment. First, it looked like a garden was growing up through the asphalt pavement in the parking lot and driveway. Second, there was a collective wince when we inhaled the smell of mothballs in the entrance hallway. We decided to give the place a... More

We made a reservation for the six of us for 6:30. We were so surprised that there were only two other parties in the entire restaurant! Wow, we wondered what we were in for? I had read a mixed bag of reviews but we were old fans of Anthony's in Boston and wanted to try this place. Well, all I... More

I am among those who loved Pier 4, so I tried the Cummaquid Inn. The location and view are excellent. The building (inside & out) needs some help. However, the food and service were SUPERB. They have a 3-course "special" menu, which includes appetizer (soup, salad, or baked clams, entree (lobster, filet mignon, & chicken), and dessert for $27. Anthony's... More

My parents, my spouse, and I enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. The service and food were excellent. We each enjoyed three course meals that featured filet mignon or lobster (and both were healthy servings), cocktails and a second beverage, and the entire bill, including tax and a generous tip came to $50 per person. That's a tremendous value in this area. The... More
