An incredible brunch. While the number of food offerings is small in comparison to many places, the quality of the food is fabulous. The atmosphere is warm and inviting and the staff is great. Very reasonably priced.

The Sunday Buffet Brunch has become a tradition for many of our Cape visitors and, as you said, the selection is not huge, but we do try and offer something for everybody and we vary the selections from week to week to keep it interesting for our repeat customers. We always grateful when customers take the time to write about... More

We came to eat here in June, and were thrilled. My husband and I shared the stuffed lobster- it was over 2 lbs and we couldn't finish all of the food. The clam chowder was hand down the best we've ever tasted. They said this restaurant has been running for over 100 years, and I can see why. Everything was... More

We had lunch there on Sept. 16 and it was delicious. We were offered a table in the tavern (darker more quaint) or the main dining room which was brighter and more airy. Since it is off season it was very quiet with only about a half dozen tables at 1 p.m. It was a bit pricey, but Oh so... More

We like to tell people "this is the best Chowder that never won an award" and they usually laugh. We have used the same recipe for 18 years, but it just keeps getting better and better. I am glad that you enjoyed it, the Seafood Trio, the wonderful ciabatta and Laura! I am so glad that you stopped in to... More

We had a group and this restaurant excelled. The food was great and they had some neat options on the menu. Definitely gourmet all the way. What was very impressive was also service. We waited for nothing other than normal prep time. Also when they served the group they got plates in front of all 10 of us incredibly fast... More

We reserved a table in the pub section for a family birthday dinner this summer. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like family. From the maître d, to the wait staff to the bartender, even the bus boys, the appreciation for having us as guests was apparent. We were also greeted by the restaurant manager and the owner... More

Just a walk for us from the Kings Inne. We enjoyed the food, the service and definitely the Cocktails. I left my handbag on the floor and one of the waiters followed us out, and up the street to return it - thank you that was so kind.

Each year, we end our visit to Cape Cod with a visit to The Old Yarmouth Inn. We can always get good seafood in a relaxed setting. The staff works as a team. When our waitress was extremely busy, the host stepped right in to take care of getting our check. We'll be back.

By far, the most delicious lobster bisque I've ever had. You could easily make a meal of that...served with warm bread and herbed butter! Delectable. I will say, if you are under the age of 60, ask to be seated in the tavern. The dining room was full of more seasoned diners, if you will. I ate there during Cape... More

Elegant but cozy atmosphere in a classic Cape Cod Inn. Presentation was good, Filet Mignon was perfect, but the stuffed sole was ruined by a fatty, soggy pastry crust. Warm, friendly, efficient staff couldn't be better. Very busy in season with tourists, but the staff handled the crowd well. Could use some noise dampening surfaces. Worth a visit.

Thank you for writing about your experience at the Old Yarmouth Inn. Although I am glad that enjoyed the Filet Mignon and that it was "perfect" I wish that we had been able to get you something to replace the Sole PIccatta, which, although is one of the more popular items on the menu - was not to your liking....
