I prefer the ambiance of the front room where there is a bar and more intimate seating. It is a great place to bring friends for lunch as it is consistently good and the service excellent. I have brought foreigners there and they loved it. It is Cape Cod architecture and history as well as good food.

When we visit The Cape, we always have at least one dinner at the Old Yarmouth Inn. We have never been disapointed. Always a great dinner, with great service. The menu is innovative and beautifully cooked, with the best ingredients. The surroundings remind you of the history of the Inn, but modern in their application. This is a great place... More

We visited Old Yarmouth Inn for the 1st time in our 15 years of having a home on Cape Cod. I know know what I was missing. It's hard to make a decision on one visit but our visit was over the top. Three of us ordered rack of lamb and one ordered the fish medley.. All of us raved... More

We went for a romantic birthday celebration and were quite impressed with this fine dining restaurant. We chose our meals from the Prix Fix menu options. The meal consisted of an appetizer, main meal and dessert. We added wine and coffee and still our bill was under $100. You can choose to dine in the bar area the pub or... More

The Tavern Room of the Old Yarmouth Inn is our favorite place for dinner on Cape Cod. Their food is consistently superb, and their wine list is always fascinating--due to the close attention it gets from wine expert & co-owner Arpad Voros.

Years ago my mom and I dined here and I have never forgotten the charms of simple country New England fare in an old coaching inn in the most lovely area of old Cape Cod. I returned with a friend in February and wondered how the last 20 or so years have treated it. Well, the Old Yarmouth Inn is... More

We ate at this restaurant years ago and it was nothing to write home about, But we decided to return this past summer and it was terrific with sensational food—even on the prix fix menu, which makes it a great value. The Inn in in a wonderful location right along historic Route 6a and has been beautifully and tastefully restored;... More

We came here for a special family dinner and had a lovely time. The service was friendly (perhaps overly so) and attentive. The Inn itself is gorgeous. We sat in the tavern. It was cozy and warm and beautifully decorated for Christmas. I can see why folks have been finding comfort here for over 300 years. The problem is the... More

We just got home from having dinner at this restaurant. We sat at the bar area and my husband ordered the Steak salad; I ordered the Beef Wellington which was one of the specials for the evening. Both entrees arrived in timely fashion, however as soon as I cut into the beef Wellington I realized it was extremely rare instead... More
