I have enjoyed dining at the OYI on several occasions. Each and every time I left feeling happy with my meal and the service, which has always been excellent. The inn itself is beautiful. There is ample parking. This past weekend I went with a simple burger because I wasn't as hungry as usual. It was perfect. My family enjoyed... More

Old Yarmouth Inn, except for the large fireplace upon entering, is a tired old establishment in need of historic preservation from its old 1970's/1980's redo. The food is so average that I struggled to find something unique and appealing to order. The service was attentive and accommodating from the host to the waitress. Would I return to eat at Old... Our party of 3 selected their chicken potpie and it was better than I thought. It was chucked full of large pieces of chicken, more than I ever got in a chicken pie, Can't wait to visit the Old Yarmouth Inn again and have their chicken pot pie. 5 star. By George

The Old Yarmouth Inn was a stop for the stage coach. It used to be a restaurant to take mother to on Sunday afternoon. Now the chef prepares meals that are delicious and interesting as well.

Been visiting the inn for well over a decade. The food is consistently excellent and original, the service is top notch, and they truly have the best brunch on Cape Cod.

A group of 7 went to Sunday brunch as the final stop of a weekend 60th birthday celebration. Our reservation was for 10:30 on a very rainy day. The inside is a typical old New England inn. The tables were elegantly set with crisp white tablecloths. The main dining room has a lot of windows which made it seem bright... More

Dustnic - Thank you for such a lovely review! That fireplace scent permeates the restaurant year round and, even in the Summer Months and everyone seems to enjoy it. Our Brunch is a labor of love for the kitchen and your comments are appreciated by all. No doubt, Kate was your server, as she always recommends dessert first. Come and... More

OYI is one of my favorite restaurants. They do it all very well but we know New Years in a restaurant can be challenging & it was. There was 6 of us & along the way a drink was under powered, a couple of meals were cold then had to be exchanged and a menu choice was sold out. We... More

After eating here in the summer, my husband and I decided to host a New Year's Eve gathering at the inn. We had a private dining room for 17 guests and it was great. Our waitress, Kate, and staff could not have been more accommodating in their service and cheerful manner. Serving 17 people with all kinds of tastes, is... More

I've been here many times in the past for dinner. The atmosphere is 100% country inn and warmly inviting. The past dinners have been good. The brunch on New Year's Day which is supposedly similar to their Sunday brunch was good, but not great. The service was decent. Food variety was slim. Sauces were average. Temperature of food was cool.... More

csback - I am sorry that you did not enjoy the New Year's Day Brunch as much as you had hoped. We put a lot of thought into the Brunch and thought that we had a varied selection that would appeal to assorted appetites and with 6 chafers of hot food, three items on the carving station, the omelet station...
