Be Prepared to Drop Some Serious Cash

Built in 1696, this is the kind of restaurant which I allow myself to patronize on special occasions. The ambiance is lovely, if you eat in the Pub and not the main dining room (be sure to make reservations for the pub side, though). It seems to me a better place for a cozy winter dinner, but I... read more

We were seated promptly, seven of us. Waitress was friendly and attentive. Atmosphere is classy, but casual. Food was excellent. A bit pricey, but one of the fine dining restaurants in the area. We enjoyed the ambiance - classy but not snobby.

This place was simply amazing. The parking lot was packed we had to see what was so great. Apparently everything. Short ribs were to die for, chicken picatta was delicious, wine list was huge, kale soup was the best I ever had, creme brulee was great, service (thanks Danny) was superb, dishes were taken away promptly, and everything was done... We dined at this inn on three nights across our five night stay in Yarmouth Port. The owners and staff were very welcoming and we felt very well looked after. The menu was extensive and I am sure that even the fussiest diner would find a dish to suit. They also offer an early dining menu if you are watching... More

Casual, charming, huge bar, early colonial atmosphere...great food, good size portions, attentive wait staff....very well kept up for originating in 1696. Within walking distance of Liberty Hill Inn. Quiet, peaceful area.

From the minute we stepped inside we knew it was going to be an enjoyable evening. We were warmly welcomed and seated promptly in a lovely, spacious dining room. It was so nice that the tables are not on top of each other and allowed us to have a conversation that we didn't have to shout to be heard. Our... More

The building itself is 319 years old which makes the visit a historical adventure in itself. You are greeted by a huge stone fireplace, warped hardwood floors, and the distinct smell of a wood fire. Just awesome! The drink menu and food menu are both expansive with many local favorites to choose from. The service was first class all the... More

Four of us had dinner here on a recent Saturday night. We were unable to get into the main dining room so we ate in the Tavern. Nice atmosphere but the acoustics are awful, you had to almost shout to be heard across the table. The food was good, nothing fancy. I had the duck, which I thoroughly enjoyed, my... More

We had a very good meal here, based on a recommendation from our inn. There are plenty of choices on the menu from simple to more upscale. We were seated in the tavern area which is darker with older wood paneling, including the bar area with tv. The Dining Room is brighter and adjacent to the tavern. The fish entrees... More

WOW! I was both startled and awed to see such a beautifully written and thoughtful review that applauds our entire operation. I have shared this review with the staff and I can only hope that we continue to improve and to continue to be the customer-driven neighborhood restaurant that we are now. I look forward to seeing you again, and... More
