We recently had a guest from out of state and took her out to dinner. It being off-season, we thought it would be easy to find a restaurant. After trying a few with long waits, we landed at the Old Yarmouth Inn. The food and service were so excellent, I wished I had just gone there first. We ate in... More

Food was pricey and not as good as expected. It is a quiet restaurant and on a slow night service should've been a little better. For the prices I expected much better.

We have enjoyed lunch here three times in the last year. Good selection of food and wine for both lunch and dinner. Soups and salads are recommended along with a glass of wine or beer. Definitely want to try the Sunday brunch.

Thank you for your review and your patronage! We get a lot of reviews on Brunch and Dinner and its nice to hear some good feedback on our lunch menu that takes it lead from the Dinner menu, but has some unique specials that aren't available any other time of the day. We hope to see you at anytime of... More

When I say, "ridiculous," its a compliment. The Sunday brunch at the Old Yarmouth Inn is ridiculously better than any brunch I have ever experienced. I was surprised at the enormous selection of brunch fare… all the ordinary selections… custom-made omelets & eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, pastas, fruits, soup, salad, breads, etc. But then, I entered a higher consciousness of... My husband and I recently went here based off the good reviews. Overall, we were pleased. Our food was very good. I had a scallop dish, with the scallops cooked perfectly, while my husband enjoyed steak. I did find it lacked a certain warmth by some of the staff and that's why I didn't rate it 5 stars.

I would like to think that your server may have been having an "off" day since our usual friendly, warm service is almost always recognized by diners. So in that regard, please accept my apology and at the same time extend an invitation to you to come back and we will do our best to score 5 stars in food,... More

We stopped by the Old Yarmouth Inn for a Sunday brunch and were not disappointed. The ambiance is cozy and warm, the service very friendly, and the food good. There was a brunch buffet with an omelet station, carving station, a variety of hot and cold dishes and desserts. There was certainly a large enough variety of options to account... More

Thank you for your review and your assessment of the quality and quantity of the food put a smile on our face. It is a challenge putting together a well rounded assortment of food on a weekly basis as it is our goal to satisfy an array of taste preferences and dietary restrictions. Knowing that we could make a non-buffet... More

An incredible brunch. While the number of food offerings is small in comparison to many places, the quality of the food is fabulous. The atmosphere is warm and inviting and the staff is great. Very reasonably priced.

The Sunday Buffet Brunch has become a tradition for many of our Cape visitors and, as you said, the selection is not huge, but we do try and offer something for everybody and we vary the selections from week to week to keep it interesting for our repeat customers. We always grateful when customers take the time to write about... More

We came to eat here in June, and were thrilled. My husband and I shared the stuffed lobster- it was over 2 lbs and we couldn't finish all of the food. The clam chowder was hand down the best we've ever tasted. They said this restaurant has been running for over 100 years, and I can see why. Everything was... More

We had lunch there on Sept. 16 and it was delicious. We were offered a table in the tavern (darker more quaint) or the main dining room which was brighter and more airy. Since it is off season it was very quiet with only about a half dozen tables at 1 p.m. It was a bit pricey, but Oh so... More

We like to tell people "this is the best Chowder that never won an award" and they usually laugh. We have used the same recipe for 18 years, but it just keeps getting better and better. I am glad that you enjoyed it, the Seafood Trio, the wonderful ciabatta and Laura! I am so glad that you stopped in to... More

We had a group and this restaurant excelled. The food was great and they had some neat options on the menu. Definitely gourmet all the way. What was very impressive was also service.
