We were traveling through the area and looked on Tripadvisor and found Cafe Assisi. We decided to give it a try. What a find! They have two rooms. One side seems to have been there for some time and is more casual. The newer side has a bar and nice decor. Our two meals were outstanding. I ordered Veal Marsala... More

Expanded space invites you to dine-in, but take out remains an option. Why not sit down for coffee and dessert while dinner is prepared and then bring dinner home? We've been known to do that!

Derek the owner has got the community of Wrentham's best restaurant. No matter what time of the day or night we go, there is always a little wait. However Anna and the staff are great it is like them being family. The wine is always the best with their great selection. Alba the bartender is a pleasure and a joy... More

We love to go to Cafe Assisi both before the renovations and ever since. Because it it so popular, it's a treat to go there, have little or no wait and then enjoy a leisurely, wonderful meal. Not once in the past 3 years have we been disappointed with our meal and we try new things all the time. The... More

Tables outside offer a nice place to eat, if you do not mind occasional car parking close by. Waitress was good, good menu choices for lunch as well.

It's small and is usually crowded, but they do take a reservation so no worries. Don't get dressed up in you Sunday best - very casual is the key guide to dress. We had real dinners and, for me, the food rivals that of many well known and more expensive places in the North End. The pizza at the next... More

Everything here is authentic and delicious. Wrentham might be a little out of your way - maybe 45 minutes from Boston but wow is it worth the drive. I can't believe this little place hasn't been on one of the food channel shows. I had the Pappardelle Bolognese and it was to die for. I live in Tennessee but I... More

Love this restaurant! Outstanding food with HUGE portions. Small family owned, whole in the wall , noisy, yes, but, who cares! Handicap assessable, but, without a wheelchair, walker ,yes. It's located in a strip mall and you could easily pass it. Service is great! Parking is limited, it's very busy on a Friday and Saturday. It's great place to have... More

I went here expecting that Cafe Assisi would at least partly live up to the high quality reviews I've seen and I was very disappointed. First, it is like trying to dine in a tunnel. The acoustics are terrible and we actually requested to move our table out from between a party table and a table of four because we... More

Dines here receIntly; it's a tiny hole in the wall kind of place, but don't let that fool you. The meals my wife and I had (Chicken Marsala and Chicken Francese) were beyond outstanding. Until now, we had only patronized Assisi's for take out (Chicken Parmesan subs to die for and outstanding pizza) Just beer and wine for alcohol options,... More
