This is a wonderful place to go for breakfast. The eggs were excellent and the staff was so friendly. The decor is splendid - its in the basement of what used to be an old factory! The staff seem to take great pride in this place and that adds to the whole dining experience. I'd defiantly go back if I'm... More

This place was down from our hotel and after looking at reviews on Tripadvisor we couldn't wait to have bfast here. Wow! We have two teenage boys and the price of the food along with the portions was awesome! Pancakes were melt in your mouth and the home fries were great. Two thumbs up!

Don't be put off by the faded sign outside, or the basement location, or the longish trek down a nondescript hallway, because what you get at the end is worth it. Pete, the owner, is a sweetheart posing as a philosophical curmudgeon. Most important, the food is delicious -- particularly the peanut-chicken soup. If you can't make the weekend only... More

With the average entrée of $15 and a byob policy Lucky's Café is quite the deal. It's only open for dinner on Friday and Saturday nights. Do make reservations, though, because of the limited seating capacity, I've seen lots of folks turned away

Lucky's is a bit hard to find downstairs but worth the effort. From the baked feta app (a favorite) to the peanut soup or the fish specials everything is fresh and delicious.Wait staff members are always great. Music on Saturday night is a nice touch but you must make a reservation.

Lucky's is downstairs in an old brick building. This place is charming! The brick walls were modestly decorated and trimmed with strands of lights. They even had fresh flowers on the tables. I went for breakfast. The menu was the standard breakfast fare, but it was good. The waitstaff was very friendly and the food arrived quickly.

Saw it was #6 on trip advisor so we went. What a mistake. Walked in and noone said hello. Finally shown table and given no menus. Finally given 1 menu for 2 (without specials list which came later) and we sat. And sat. And sat. Everyone else (7 tables looking around at the ceiling waiting for food). The Table after... More

Friday night...45 minutes for a dinner order was too long. The food was good and the portions were very generous. There seemed to be an awful lot of staff but things just were not moving that fast. Sort of turned into a meal that you were waiting on rather than fully enjoying. The restaurant is in a small basement space... More

What a lovely brick cavern with excellent food, furnishings, and waitstaff. It's a little hole-in-the-wall in an old mill building but so worth finding! We had peanut soup, YUM, and grilled cheese, scrambled eggs, home fries, all on a quiet Sunday. Everything hot, delicious, served quickly. There are fantastic photographs on the wall. It's around the corner from the Art... More
