Description: In the beautiful hills of Tuscany, and in the cities and villages that dot...
In the beautiful hills of Tuscany, and in the cities and villages that dot the countryside we discovered a simple food paradise which we were eager to bring closer to home. We created VIA to offer you those culinary gems from our visits to Italy in combination with old family recipes, as well as American favorites. VIA captures the rare rustic charm of Italian cooking and dining. Italians love to eat outdoors, so we have created a beautiful four-season patio at VIA, so our guests can dine al fresco whenever possible. VIA is the essence of Italian dining - full of charm and great aromas with our open kitchen, complete with brick-oven bread, baked daily; hearty meats, such as tenderloin, pork and chicken slowly turning and roasting on our spit, and the joys of gelato being created right before your eyes. Like Italy, our inspiration, VIA is a picture of contrasts. The restaurant is both urban and rural, sophisticated and casual, old world and remarkably new. It is a place where singles mingle with families, where private conversations are had among festive celebrations. With this environment and our attention to detail where fresh good foods are concerned, the simple act of dining feels like a joyous occasion. In Italian, VIA means "the way." Come to VIA and enjoy "the way" we embrace our travel memories, our family recipes, and American traditions which are so important to us.

Surprisingly good brunch

My family selected Via for a Father's Day brunch. I work in Worcester and have eaten several lunches at Via. The brunch menu had almost all new options from their regular menu. A number of regular breakfast items with a new twist or more traditional Italian ingredients. I was pleased with... read more

This a luncheon was for a special family occasion and although the food and service was good, we did not appreciate having to deal with fruit flies swarming around us during the entire lunch. I don't mean just one or two either - there were a lot! I mentioned it to the waiter and he basically shrugged it off, admitting... More

Every food item we orders was superb. For instance the risotto, ravioli and home made sauces (vodka and marinara); pizza is thin crust, unique and delicious. Fresh mozzarella, homemade bread, and pasta was tops. THe atmosphere was upscale modern Italian and the wait staff were friendly and accommodating. Would definitely return.

When my husband and I think about a dinner for two VIA is always the first place that comes to mind . We have been here multiple times and not once have we ever been disappointed . I always love how they have things on the menu that you can't get anywhere else like the suckling pig and mussels in... More

We just tried the VIA brunch for the first time, and are very glad we did. I had the lavender ricotta pancakes with maple syrup and my wife had the prosciutto omelet and both were delicious. The service was prompt, attentive and friendly. And, although not on the menu, they made me some iced coffee on this hot July day... More

Tried it from getting good review from friends. Food was okay but the price was high in my opinion for what was served. I've had just as good of Italian food at another place that I won't name. Don't tthink I'll go back.

I have always loved Via. Very nice menu that changes with the seasons and a great wine list. We went there for NYE and loved it. This is now going to be an annual tradition! Great Italian, but not your usual spaghetti and meatball place. Lively bar scene.

I would suggest the patio dining for pizza and salad. Did not like the inside dining at all. The overall menu is just ok.

Good bar and bar bites. Food is well prepared and delivered hot. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Good array of selections. Parking a bit difficult in the day, valet in the evening. On Shrewsbury St.
