Description: In the beautiful hills of Tuscany, and in the cities and villages that dot...
In the beautiful hills of Tuscany, and in the cities and villages that dot the countryside we discovered a simple food paradise which we were eager to bring closer to home. We created VIA to offer you those culinary gems from our visits to Italy in combination with old family recipes, as well as American favorites. VIA captures the rare rustic charm of Italian cooking and dining. Italians love to eat outdoors, so we have created a beautiful four-season patio at VIA, so our guests can dine al fresco whenever possible. VIA is the essence of Italian dining - full of charm and great aromas with our open kitchen, complete with brick-oven bread, baked daily; hearty meats, such as tenderloin, pork and chicken slowly turning and roasting on our spit, and the joys of gelato being created right before your eyes. Like Italy, our inspiration, VIA is a picture of contrasts. The restaurant is both urban and rural, sophisticated and casual, old world and remarkably new. It is a place where singles mingle with families, where private conversations are had among festive celebrations. With this environment and our attention to detail where fresh good foods are concerned, the simple act of dining feels like a joyous occasion. In Italian, VIA means "the way." Come to VIA and enjoy "the way" we embrace our travel memories, our family recipes, and American traditions which are so important to us.

Good food in an active scene; service was slow and inconsistent. Restaurant was crowded; had to wait for table w/ reservations. Somewhat overpriced for offerings.

Via has a great reputation in Worcester and usually they serve up decent to fine food. At here prices are expensive, but service is top notch and usually the quality of food is excellent. I was so disappointed tonight, when taking a friend to dinner to celebrate their birthday. We we seated in a timely fashion, having made reservations. Because... More

My friend has been raving about this place for months, and we finally had the opportunity to dine there on a recent Saturday evening. I found Via to be a mixed bag..some hits and some misses... enough to earn it a smack-dab down the middle review. The hits: Via boasts a cozy, warm but vibrant atmosphere, with aged brick walls,... You can count on a great meal at any time here. I've always been happy with my dinner selection, and the Sunday brunch is exceptional! Nice atmosphere inside but the outside seating only has a view of the driveway and another building across the way.

Reservations early for 5:30 on a holiday. Sat by 5:30 outside on the heated patio. We were right next to the plastic windows and it wasn't even a little chilly in a dress, so the heaters work wonders! Our waiter Rich was quick to find out if we'd been before and run down the menu quickly. Drinks were tasty. A... More

Very crowded, staff was snooty and dismissive. We had reservations and they didn't seem to care. We had to wait or we could sit on porch. It's winter and there is plastic with heaters all around. Not appealing. When we were seated the wait staff was nice enough but were so busy even at 8pm that we had to ask... More

My husband and I recently had dinner here with two other couples in recognition of my friends birthday. Pros: - The restaurant is rustic, casual, and warm. Perfect for a cold nice in New England! - The food was consistently good throughout the meal. I recommend the caprese salad... the fresh mozzarella is amazing! Rich and creamy, everything you could... More

VIA Italian Table - Worcester, MA In the basement of what was formerly an old school board that once housed desks, chairs, tables and school supplies... Nestled between highway over passes and snow filled roads in a town that boasts numerous colleges and industry lies a lovely Italian restaurant called VIA Italian Table. Looking around as I dine, I can't... More

While the food wasn't the traditional Italian fare that I expected, it was good. The atmosphere was great and the staff were friendly.
