Description: In the beautiful hills of Tuscany, and in the cities and villages that dot...
In the beautiful hills of Tuscany, and in the cities and villages that dot the countryside we discovered a simple food paradise which we were eager to bring closer to home. We created VIA to offer you those culinary gems from our visits to Italy in combination with old family recipes, as well as American favorites. VIA captures the rare rustic charm of Italian cooking and dining. Italians love to eat outdoors, so we have created a beautiful four-season patio at VIA, so our guests can dine al fresco whenever possible. VIA is the essence of Italian dining - full of charm and great aromas with our open kitchen, complete with brick-oven bread, baked daily; hearty meats, such as tenderloin, pork and chicken slowly turning and roasting on our spit, and the joys of gelato being created right before your eyes. Like Italy, our inspiration, VIA is a picture of contrasts. The restaurant is both urban and rural, sophisticated and casual, old world and remarkably new. It is a place where singles mingle with families, where private conversations are had among festive celebrations. With this environment and our attention to detail where fresh good foods are concerned, the simple act of dining feels like a joyous occasion. In Italian, VIA means "the way." Come to VIA and enjoy "the way" we embrace our travel memories, our family recipes, and American traditions which are so important to us.

Very good meal with a friend

Late night dinner with a good friend, who wanted to sit at the bar. The only negative was an occasional chemical waft from the dishwasher nearby. started with a grilled Caesar salad; the lettuce is charred slightly while kept as a head. a different but interesting taste. The roast suckling pig is... read more

Enjoyed an early Sunday dinner (Jan 31) with some friends. The food was good but I was astonished at the delivery of the samples of wine called a "Wine Flight"! This is either 4 glasses of white or red wine predetermined in the menu. While generous amounts were served, there was no indication which wine was which and the waiter... More

After looking at several reviews, we decided to give Via a try for brunch. It was everything people said. The food was excellent. I had the salmon salad. The portion was very large and the price was extremely reasonable. Others had the steak and eggs, Via burger and the parfait. Everyone enjoyed their meal. The servers were very pleasant and... More

Via Italian Table, I been in Worcester many times but never visited VIA before. My friends told me that it was an awesome restaurant to visit. They were correct, food was awesome, service perfect. What i loved to watch chefs preparing food at the open kitchen. That place looks like well orchestrated bees hive with bees making food with lots... More

My wife and her twin sister were married 1 week apart 44 years ago. The four of us met 1/2 way in Worcester for an anniversary lunch! Joan, my sister in law chose the venue after extensive research. There are many Italian restaurants on Shrewsbury St. . She picked the right one!! Initially I thought it was a little pricey... More

Very nice atmosphere. Valet parking for $4, extremely reasonable and prompt. Another restaurant from the 111 Chop House family next door. I really nice dining area and place you'd like to sit and enjoy a meal with family or friends. I've seen other reviews that called it noisy, but we were there on a Sunday evening, and there wasn't much... More

Great dinner out with large group. Traditional Italian food. They have an amazing Grilled ceaser salad. Good wine. Great eggplant Parmesan. Parking is very limited best to use the valet service.

They have a really long wine list and good Italian food. I had Ragu of Italian Meats which was very heavy. I will order something else next time. My wife had Scaloppine of Veal which she liked a lot. Our server was great and quick. They seemed to have a lot of wait staff there. If you go, try to... More

This is a good date restaurant, or special occasion restaurant. They have delicious italian food. I especially like their caesar salad (it's grilled!).

Clean, great fragrances, nice décor, questionable parking, a bit noisy, nice wait staff - great brunch! Nice twist on standards like - ricotta pancakes with lavender butter and real maple syrup. Eggs benedict made with Italian toast, pancetta. Both were delicious. Don't expect the Benedict to be like the standard as it is not all. Its a different meal, but... More
