Just like being in Coney Island

Great food, great prices, great people. You'll walk out of there stuffed for cheap money. Order them up (chili, onions and mustard) they are delicious. Their pickles are awesome too.

I'll admit it... I'm not a hot dog person but the hubby is. We stopped here on our way back to NJ from Maine. It's very close to the highway and read about it so we thought we'd give it a try. I'm sorry if I offend anybody from Worcester but boy it's a stinky area. George's Coney Island Hot... More

Great place for dogs... Order them "up". Really friendly people... The place feels like I'm in 1950... It's a great dog!

If you want some old fashioned coney dogs be sure to stop at Coney Island Lunch. I've been going there for years and nothing has changed. The special coney sauce is always great and the quick service can't be beat. You may even find some old friends or relatives names carved in the old booths. If you're in the mood... More

Back when the factories in the area were booming this was a great place to run into for a quick lunch now it's mostly a somewhat bleak nostalgia attraction. Nothing they serve is really very good and the prices aren't cheap anymore. You go there thinking how your father may have sat in the same booth years ago and leave... More

Coney Island Hot Dogs have been a family favorite for 40 years and 3 generations of my family. Simple menu has expanded to include baked beans, but mostly everyone comes here for the dogs; grilled, warmed bun, served "up" (onions, mustard, and "sauce", chili mix) . Chips and a soda make it a meal, and a memory. The neon sign,... More

This place is a landmark. Still has booths and decorations from around the 1930's. The restaurant, bar and the chili sauce are like they were decades ago. It doesn't change. I've tried other hot dogs with chili sauce in the Northeast (even New York) and don't find a sauce that matches theirs. It's not gourmet or health food but it's... More

My wife grew up in Natick and swore by Casey's Hotdogs until I introduced her to Worcester's Coney Island Lunch hotdogs!!! 3 dogs washed down with Chocolate milk...or a Miller Highlife, you can't beat it. My parents went there as young adults after dances before WWII

This place has been around for many years and it is easy to see why. With the atmosphere of a speak easy, including carved graffiti in the booths. You may find the names of famous Worcester people and politicians from their earlier youthful days. Hot Dogs are always cooked to perfection, with the "works " is best. A little chili... More

Although I don't live in the neighborhood, I have visited Coney Island Lunch on numerous occasions throughout the years. In fact, any time I find myself in the Worcester area, I make an effort to grab my lunch there. First timers will notice the 50s-era bright neon sign displaying an enormous hot dog dripping globs of butter. Once you enter,... More
