On March 1, 2013 my girlfriend and i went to The Sole. Our server was fantastic her name is Amy. The managers were great as well. I happened to make my reservation really late in the day for a Friday. I was nervous about asking my girlfriend to marry me. So with being a gay couple and all The Sole... More

Service was below of what the expectations for the place were. Food is good price was to be expected, the place itself looks aged, it is clean but that old feeling, to tell the truth I do not think it is a bad thing in a way but seems like they might want to keep the look for the locals,... More

I loved my baked stuffed lobster with scallops (A). Sides were ok (B). Waitstaff came back to question me twice because they had forgotten what I ordered, and then later brought the incorrect salad and sides.

Let me start by saying for a Saturday they were so accommodating! We originally had a reservation for 7:30 for 5 and wanted to bump it up to 7, a bit earlier. I called at 5:30 and the hostess assured me there was no problem. We were seated promptly. Drinks were delicious! Try the white sangria! We had some apps... More

We stopped for lunch and were not disappointed. We hadn't been to the Sole Proprietor in years and look forward to coming again. We were seated immediately and the service was wonderful. My wife had the salmon Marsala and I had scallops wrapped in bacon. They were both delicious. We highly recommend this restaurant if you're in the Worcester area.

First time visit was for dinner on a busy Thursday night. We had reservations and were seated immediately. Our servers were attentive - almost too attentive - but in general the service was great. We started wtih the crab cake appetizer and some oysters. The crab cake was delicious, but served over a slaw with an overpowering taste of soy... More

My husband and I stopped in for lunch during Lobsterfest this week. His crab stuffed mushroom appetizer was good. My firecracker role was huge, though it's listed as an appetizer it was nearly a meal. Some of the bites were so large I had to cut them in half which wasn't easy with a butter knife. I kept thinking it... More

Extensive collection of fresh fish, done anyway you like, dining room plus pub area if you are a sports fan ; this is a noisy restaurant so if you want good conversation, ask for the dining room. From sole to native cod, everything is fresh

The Sole is hands-down the best seafood restaurant in Worcester. That being said, there isn't any serious competition, as most other restaurants are pub-style or national chains. I have always enjoyed fresh seafood at the Sole, so the raw materials are where they need to be. Where the gild has come off the lily for me is in how the... More

We had dinner on easter sunday at 3pm, eventhough without reservation it wasn't too crowded at that time. My wife had shrimps with pasta and I had to take the Surf & Turf, which was awesome!!! Very fresh, tasty, it's an experience. Interior, ambience and staff is like upper restaurant, but so are the prices, but it wasn't so way... More
