I have eaten at the Sole many times. When the food is good it surpasses excellent, but some evenings the food is not up to par. I've had wonderfully prepared fish dishes and then on the next visit mediocre. I wish they would monitor quality in the kitchen. I would fine their weekly if they did.

Took my inlaws here for our last night as a thank you for putting us up for a week. Everything was amazing -- the service quick but not rushed, the food was perfect. We got clam chowder -- was better than most with bacon. Rich but not too heavy. And they had a moscato wine to die for. Not kid-friendly... More

With 4 different meals ordered, there was good opportunity to see what the Sole has to offer on a Saturday evening. One would expect the seafood to be the star of the show, but that seemed not to be the case. Things started on a positive note with a delicious "flirtini" cocktail, very summery with a variety of fruit flavors,... More

This is an attractive restaurant which styles itself as a higher end venue. However, the menu isn't very interesting and the food was truly mediocre. Nothing was bad, nothing was very good. Among us we tried the Monkfish, seafood mixed grill and grilled trout. The first two were served on what seemed a bed of Uncle Ben's rice, the third... More

People in this area get serious wood and go bananas over this place. Personally I'm not sure why. Sure the food is decent and they make a good clam chowder but I find the menu to be overpriced for many items. Maybe it's purely the luxury of having a full seafood restaurant in central Massachusetts. I think this place is... More

One of the chefs came out and gave us some recommendations, which was great! Excellent food and service. Highly recommended, but avoid Friday nights---crazy busy and the parking lot jammed up

Received a gift certificate and decided to go there for dinner. We decided to sit at the bar. The bartender had a terrible cold or allergies. Need not say more I could not stay there and eat. Won't be back. They need to train their staff.

If you are a seafood lover, this is the place to go for a special meal. A wonderful ambience and the freshest seafood in the area. It is a great place for lunch and the menu is extensive. It is one of the more expensive restaurants in Worcester but worth it for a special occasion. Lunch prices are more reasonable.... More
