The place is a bit dark but the food is pretty good. Usually just stop here for drinks. Parking is in the back and usually fills up so try getting parking on the street.

I visited Sahara with a friend of mine while we were in Auburn at a work conference. She had never eaten middle eastern cuisine before and was looking forward to trying. We first arrived into what seemed to be a lovely quaint and eclectic town. Although the restaurant wasn't busy, as it was a Monday night, the restaurant was just... More

Have eaten at this restaurant many times over the years and you can see the restaurant aging before your eyes. The ceiling fixtures always have several light bulbs out and am not sure if they are same as ones in past visit or are new ones. Paint peeling from ceiling. Service was very good but the food is just average... More

What a perfect place! It was a beautiful summer afternoon in Worcester and was I waiting for my appointment at the Tattoo Project down the street. We went in between lunch and dinner so there were only a few other patrons and we got excellent service. The place is very well lit and was a great atmosphere to enjoy fine... More

I have eaten at Sahara many many times between '99 and '04. The food was very good and Sahara was a little bit of a unique restaurant at the time. Over time, the quality of the food has gone down-hill and the decor and space are in need of repair but that isn't happening. In '06 the food was quite... More

I stopped going to this place a couple of years ago when the items charged on my bill did not match the charges on the menu. I went back specifically to hear a band that was playing there, and had dinner. I was disappointed that the beer list was so short (in fact there was nothing on it that was... More

I was in Worcester Massachusetts shopping with a couple of my daughters when we came across this little Mediterranean restaurant on a busy corner. We ordered a Greek salad, stuffed grape leaves and the Kafta Kebab. Their wine list was amazingly generous for such a small place and most wine available by the glass. The Greek salad was very traditional... More

I don't usually eat Middle Eastern food. I went here with extended family as a get together. I was impressed with the food; very unique. I'm obviously not an expert on this kind of food but it seemed very authentic and creative. The portions were large. Our server was attentive, no problems. I was surprised there weren't more patrons on... More

Great middle eastern food. Pita bread and hummus outstanding . Had Kibbe which has wonderful . Great service . There is parking on Highland street and on the side of the restaurant . Atmosphere is really different and with interesting decor. Good prices.
