Great food, fun atmosphere

Great appetizers, pizza and meals. They also have a Gluten free menu. Reservation recommended on the weekends, otherwise be prepared to wait 30 minutes or more.

Boynton is without a doubt in the top 10 in Worcester, it is one of 15 or so restaurants within walking distance to WPI. Lucky's cafe is very close to the medical school side of the campus and is truly a gem. Peter, the owner, promotes local Jazz musicians and the food is an outstanding value. The atmosphere is eclectic... More

You can get a good sized entree for under $20 and there are tons of beers or cocktails to pick from to accompany your dinner. If you are going to have a very special date or for a special occasion, then it's probably not the best place for you. Often overcrowded during sporting events and weekends. A good lunch place,... The Boynton, located off Highland Street in Worcester, abuts Elm Park Community School ("EPCS") -- a gritty, inner-city elementary school that services many of Worcester's most under-privileged young boys & girls. Over the years, EPCS has been a great friend & neighbor to The Boynton's employees & customers. In fact, due to the lack of available neighborhood parking spaces, restaurant... More

The best thing about the Boynton is the huge variety of alcohol. It's a restaurant, not just a bar, but tends to be wicked loud inside. This is due partly to the college crowd that lives in the area. The food is always decent but boring - nothing special on the menu. I have, however, NEVER been served undercooked or... More

If you like good food, the Boynton has it. If you like your food in a quiet and relaxing atmosphere, then you will not like the Boynton. Because the food is so good, it is always busy. That means it is very loud. If that doesn't bother you, then go for it.

I've lived in Worcester for almost 15 years, and the Boynton is one of our favorites. It's located on the main drag off exit 17 (Highland St.) from I-290 and on the edge of the Worcester Poly campus. Great service is provided by eager coeds working their way through school. Parking is somewhat limited, and you'll want to beat the... More

I've been to the Boynton quite a bit for both personal and professional occasions. I enjoy it for both because it's very consistent and everything I've ever ordered there has been delicious. They have this dish with pasta, grated cheese and lobster that should be on everyone's bucket list. The downsides: The bar area gets VERY crowded. It goes from... More

This place is terrible, bland food, overly loud and the server ripped off our groups check. The server was paid by both credit card and cash, we left her a good tip (we're all wait staff ourselves, so we know how to tip) I was very clear what the the server should include on my credit card bill, I signed...
