My new favorite stop while at DCU

Loved TPK! I have to admit, I've been coming to the DCU Center for years and always thought The Peoples Kitchen was a soup kitchen. Not until I pulled up Trip Advisor did I realize my error. What a fantastic find on a cold night when we didn't want to deal with the obnoxious loudness of a... read more

Off we go for another dining adventure. Myself and three girlfriends were treated to a warm and cozy and delicious visit. We arrived and were greeted by valet (yay!) parking and a very nice welcome at the host desk. We were seated upstairs and it was so toasty on a freezing night. Our waitress, Lindsay was outstanding-ask for her. We... More

We went on Wednesday night. Valet parking was great especailly in the snow. We were greeted & seated - nice enough. From there on - not so much goodness or greatness to report. Our half filled martini glasses were delivered 10 mintues apart with no explaination as to why it took 10 mintues to make the second martini. Appetizers were... More

My wife and I received a Groupon for Christmas and decided to use it this past Thursday evening. Everything about the place was excellent. Starting with the free valet to the friendly greeting at the door. It continued with the wait staff and throughout our visit. It was a really good atmosphere and yes the food was extremely good. We... More

Had to drop our daughter at the DCU center for a dance competition. Walked around the corner hoping to get into the wine bar. Well, there a bunch of things going on that night and the place was fully booked. There was one table near the entrance. The hostess offered it to us and kept the door to the entrance... More

This was our first visit to The People's Kitchen located in downtown Worcester, across from the DCU convention center. The restaurant provides complimentary valet parking. We ordered off the price fixed menu, starting with the spinach salad. The salads were extremely tasty. For our main entrees, I chose the Filet Mignon (small surcharge) and my spouse chose the salmon. We... More

Have been here on multiple occasions and have never left disappointed. The food is top notch using local ingredients from local farms, a changing monthly menu keeps people coming back to see what is next, on top of that they have specials that arouse your taste buds ! Service has usually been spot on, but like any service industry it... More

I have gone to the Citizen often since it first opened and it has become our frequent go-to place after work. I mean, what's not to love about a place that features wine, cheese and chocolate samplings among its specialties? That said, the service has disappointed several times. Once, the table we reserved for a group had been given away... More

I don't know why it took me so long to try this restaurant. The menu varies and is not huge, however they have a pretty big wine list and the portions are big. It's all farm to table with the freshest ingredients. We started with a cheese plate that came with a fig preserve, bread, honey, pickles, nuts, berries and... More
