Bottled and on tap, the Novare Res of Worcester but with a better food menu. That says it all, a must stop when passing through Worcester.

Armsby Abbey was absolutely packed for brunch service but the food was well worth the wait. The menu is small, focused on local and seasonal foods. It offers traditional brunch food, with a twist in many cases. I thoroughly enjoyed the quiche. The atmosphere is better suited for an evening dinner or drinks; the restaurant is cave-like with minimal natural... More

We made reservations for dinner on a Friday evening. After a short wait we took a small table for dinner (we were 6!). We shared a Farmstead Cheese platter, a must. A selection of cheese, with prosciutto, hot peppers, home baked bread and other goodies. Mhh. I had sirloin tips with chimichurri. The dish was a amazing. Side note: I... More

We were looking for a good place to meet friends for brunch, and Armsby Abbey delivered. There are many options for their Bloody Marys, which are worth the effort it takes to order one. The brunch menu appeared to be tailored to the day, so there's not much point in reviewing individual dishes - I'll just say that between the... More

We stopped in for lunch when we saw it looked busy and had outside dining. Wow! What a find. This a locals place that was packed on a Saturday afternoon. They have an amazing selection of beers -some local, but from other states as well. A lot of the food is made with ingredients from local farms and small companies.... More

The beers are amazing and the variety is too. But the food was the real star here. 3 of us shared 3 different 'slates.' house made pickles, local cheese and a charcuterie slate. I had never had head cheese, and am now a convert. My husband had fish and chips and said that it was great. Staff was knowledgeable and... More

Visited on 10/1/14 for lunch, the server/bar tender was top notch in his handling of the place on his own. Had the Farmstead cheese, only place in Worcester that I have seen this offered -really made lunch something different. also had the pork rinds, also good and not something you find on the menu in other places. Had the BBC... More

If you want a top notch beer selection, this is your place. In regards to atmosphere, it's small and loud. The waitstaff will yell at you for standing on the opposite side of a table, and if you ask to have an item with no meat, let's say you are a vegetarian and want no bacon, you will be told... More

As you can see from a previous review of the Armsby Abbey I truly like this place. It is rare to find a local spot that hits on all notes... and this certainly has been one of them in all of my prior visits. I visited this past Sunday Night and have to report that from the minute we walked... More

Terrific beer selection complimented by a light menu that takes advantage of the current farm-to-table trend. Beers lean on the heavier side, as do the prices. Local isn't cheap but we found the portions reasonable and the food really quite good. Everything was fresh and authentic so you DO get what you pay for. Breads from the next door bakery... More
