Great Pub experience without the travel.

A great selection of imported Beers on Tap. Cheese plates were fantastic with fresh local fruits as garnish. staff was helpful and fun to be around. Food was good as well. Noise level is high and has a crowded feel, but that's part of the ambiance there so don't plan to have a quiet... read more

I know a lot of people come to the Abbey for the extensive tapped beer selection (which is diverse and always on point with the menu) but you have to stay for the menu! The mac-and-cheese, a menu staple, is rich and so delectable I could order it every time I go! The ingredients of each dish make you feel... More

It constantly amazes us that a bar that could totally rest on its beer laurels manages to put out amazing food. I'm also impressed with the beer knowledge of the staff, which you would assume all beer bars would have, but you would be wrong. The menu is extensive and varied, with some great off the beaten path stuff like... More

My husband and I visited this past Saturday. The menu is small, but has a variety of food. They appear to specialize in local farm foods and fresh cheeses. We ended up starting with the pork rinds (not great at all) and the hummus (delicious - grilled, thick pita served with it). There is a fairly large selection of beers,... More

We went for the first time for Sunday brunch. We got there a few minutes before they opened, which I recommend. We got seated quickly and had a friendly, attentive server. I had the quiche which was really great. Flaky crust, full of veggies and egg. My daughter had the strawberry pancakes, which were also delicious.. My husband had the... More

Armsby Abbey may be my favorite all-around food and drink spot to date. Ever. Not only do they have an awesome and constantly evolving array of killer beer on tap, they also have an extensive bottle list, incredible hand-crafted cocktails, and ridiculously good food. I make a point to visit this establishment every time I'm in the Worcester area, which... More

My daughter and I were visiting Massachusetts from the Chicagoland area in preparation for her move here. We had dinner at Armsby Abbey and it was wonderful. Our server was wonderful, the food was delicious and locally grown, and the beer was great.

Since finding the Abbey for the first time a few months ago, we have been back 3 times, and we live 6 hours away! Totally impressive tap list, one time there were 7 Hill Farmstead beers on! We have had consistently outstanding bartenders there, great recommendations, quick service and always keeping that water glass full. Have only had the small... More

We attended a rehearsal dinner at this restaurant which is a blend of modern with a hippie feel. The food that was selected for the dinner had nothing I really liked - aka really fancy food as I normally never have an issue picking food. The food was overly salty and the combinations were interesting. For example we could pick... More

When I visited last friday they had seven different Hill Farmstead beers on tap. That alone should be enough to give this place five stars. In addition to the HF, they had a very unique and well curated tap list. I didn't even feel the need to look at the bottle list, which I'm sure was equally as perfect. I... More
