Come for the waterside seating, stay for the food!

Had dinner at the bar . . . Good service, bartender knowledgable about the menu., generous cocktail. I enjoyes the local oysters and the sewwt, garlicy scallops very much. What can you say about fresh oysters . . . They were. Expertly shucked and loose in the shells, nice presentation. Scallops... read more

We visited with our family on a Sunday afternoon on the last weekend in August. We we arrived the initial service was OK and then it went downhill from there. The food took forever to arrive and when it did it was average at best. Definitely don't bother as I'm sure there are better options in town.

... we had dinner here, outside, by the water -- and supper was super. As large ducks awaited castoffs (none to be had), we supped on seafood, downed an ail and enjoyed talking.

Went on a whim while waiting for the ferry. The food was excellent and service efficient and friendly. An excellent dinner choice with a view of the water!

My girlfriend, her son, my son & I did the 10+ bike ride from Falmouth to Woodshole today to spend some time in Woodshole and have a relaxing lunch. My son and I have been to Shuckers a few times in the past and suggested this place to our friends. Much to our disappointment. Her son ordered the cold Lobster... More

We had a great family dinner at Shuckers. They accomodated our request when we did not like the table we got originally. We were a party of 9 and they served us with a smile. They are not pretentious, very down to earth, and the food was good. Our kids liked the sushi and there's also a kids menu. They... More

A group of 7 of us went here for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. The location is great and water views lovely. It's also decorated great! I thought the food overall was just ok. I ordered a lobster sandwich with avocado and a blue cheese spread which sounded really good but actually really lacked flavor and the wrap itself wasn't... More

I had high hopes for this place being right on the water, pretty crowded, etc. Average at best. Had two items from the sushi bar, salmon good, hamachi fair. Had a shrimp po-boy with slaw. Slaw was good. Shrimp hard as a rock and not seasoned much. Too much roll and slaw for the amount of shrimp on the sandwich.... More

Had dinner at the bar, with a great bartender (Rose) who made several excellent suggestion. Sushi was excellent as was the rest of the meal. The bar could use some upgrading/modernizing as far as available wines liquors. I'll go back for the food, which was well seasoned, fresh and generous potions. The drinks I did have were well made, thank... More

Clam chowder was excellent and so was the lobster Caesar salad. The gluten free bun was awful, old, and falling apart, so stay away from the GF bread products. The service was quick and the location was fabulous, right on the water. You can see all of the boats go by, right from your table.
