Must try the oyster and the view

This place has one of the best sitting in Falmouth, MA. It is located right by the Eel Pond bay with vibrant wild ducks (well fed by human) and likely a marine biologist talking next to you about how they use squid (and others) to do experiments and then cook them afterward. Animal advocates can... read more

Had a great lunch on the 4th of July at Shucker's with my parents, wife, and baby daughter. Every single member of the staff was terrific. The atmosphere was very nice over looking the beautiful waters of Eel pond and the boats docked there. We ordered clams casino, boutique oysters, fish tacos, and lobster mac and cheese. The portions were... More

The only nice thing about the place is the water view. Food and service was horrible. Our waiter took our order quickly but we waited forever for our food. While waiting for our food another waiter came and said he was our server for the evening and asked what we wanted. Lack of communication right there and there were so... More

Beautiful view, great menu and food. Informal but a step up, excellent service. The seafood dishes, salads, raw bar, and sushi all good. The flatiron garlic sesame scallops were especially tasty and plentiful. Crab cakes were some of the best we've ever had. When warm weather it opens to the breezes but when cooler they enclose and have heat. Mixed... More

Incredible view of Eel Pond. Ask for a table on the deck for the full experience. Raw bar and baked stuffed lobster who could want for more? Fresh squeezed juice cocktails are the best. If you are a local or just visiting, this is a great place to spend an evening or just an afternoon waiting for the ferry or... More

In warm weather the outdoor seating on the harbor is hard to beat. Our waitperson was smiling and enthusiastic, but the service was not great. We ordered drinks and a few minutes later 3 of the 4 drinks arrived. Someone asked for a glass for his beer, but when the fourth drink was brought the beer glass had been forgotten.... More

Great food. Freshest seafood you could find. Sophisticated beer. FABULOUS ATMOSPHERE! Right on the water. The server was awesome and everyone was having a great time.

Signs outside, menu posted outside, but don't expect anything more if you are here after Columbus Day. Columbus Day, equals end of tourist season in Woods Hole. Most of the area is closed.

It's not easy to find a great place to eat on the water in Falmouth. There aren't many options, and Shuckers is one of the best choices for affordable, tasty food and terrific views. Shuckers is a casual spot with lots of outdoor seating including tables on a floating dock on Eel Pond -- a great spot for watching boats... More

We ate out on the deck with the harbor view, lovely. We had fried cod sandwiches. They were served in baskets, very unique. The cod was fresh and not overdone. Service was excellent, fast and friendly. Parking is metered, watch your time.
