It was a nice place to have breakfast that was not too expensive. We like simple breakfasts - eggs, toast, home fries, and this fit the bill. It is on the water and you can see boats going through the Water St Drawbridge.

We have gone to this restaurant for 30 years, hands have changed many times in the last 10 years and each time this place has gotten worse. We will NEVER go here again. Ordered mussels for $14 they came cols and a watery broth, then I ordered fried clams with bellies at market price $29, when they came they were... More

Went here for dinner two consecutive evenings. Not sure why all these negative reviews were written, but that was not our experience. This place is still great after all these years! The scallops were so good my wife absolutely had to have them again. My seared Ahi Tuna was perfect, like seared sashimi, and the wasabi sauce on the side... More

Having fond childhood memories from the 1970s of the old P.J.'s that was here, I was really hoping it would be good. It was not. We were seated when the restaurant was nearly empty, but then had to ask the waitress for menus, which she gave, but without apology for ignoring us. The food was way overpriced and not good.... We were outside reading the menu when a complete stranger encouraged us to go in - raved about her dinner there last night. We decided to give it a try for lunch and we were not disappointed. Service was quick and food was delicious! Two people had the lobster roll and said it was amazing. It came with avocado, bacon... More

I was horrified today to go to a fish restaurant and learn that the crab cake was made up of canned crabmeat. I knew it had an off taste, asked the waitress, ate half, and then decided I couldn't eat any more when she informed me that they use canned crabmeat. When I asked her to take it off the... More

This place has the BEST clam chowder I've ever had. And I'm something of a chowder snob, and have been convinced for 20 years that no chowder could beat that I always had at the Chatham Squire. But this - well, what can I say? It did. I also had a turkey Panini with cranberry/apple relish, which was yummy (and... More

I have had okay food, but nothing great. I have had good drinks but nothing to write here about, I have had sticky tables and bad service and finally have given up on the Monger, sorry guys..

Even if you don't like seafood, there's something for the carnivore or vegetarian. The view is really nice--overlooking the water. My Mediterranean wrap was delicious, however the portions were a little on the large side. My husband ordered the turkey panini and he seemed to really enjoy it. This is a great stop if you're in Woods Hole for the... More

Parking anyplace in Woods hole is a problem so park right next door for $3 . The selection is somewhat limited but adequate. Food is generally tasty but a little overpriced. Somewhat trendy and hence the overpriced aspect.
