Miss the view!

My husband and I have been going to the Fishmonger's for several years. It is our first stop on our first day. This was perfect. Great view and a great breakfast. What a way to start our vacation. But, last year (2014) When we arrived about 9a.m., The restaurant was closed. Sign saying that... read more

Expensive food bad service small servings -don't go here unless you want to waste your money. It tasted ok but never saw a fisherman's platter that small!

The food is good and the view can't be beat. For a while they were trying to promote a modern innovative menu, but really, their strength is reliable favorites and pleasant waiters. Located right beside the bridge, it's fun to see the boats navigate the narrow passage.band it's a favorite place for locals to meet for lunch.

Do not eat at this restaurant unless you have all day! My family went to this restaurant on the day after Christmas for lunch. The restaurant was nicely crowded (probably because it was the only place in town open). We waited about 10 minutes (not bad) for our table, but then the problems began. It took them fifteen minutes after... More

I stopped by after visiting the nearby aquarium. It was about 3 p.m.,in the dead off-season, and for most of the time I was the only customer. The two waitstaff were nice and easy to talk to, and the various taps with craft beers were good--and I have to add, at $5 a pint properly priced. But gees, that food... More

Great exterior, warm interior, wonderful staff and fun to talk to, but oh so poor food. Go, drink, chat, but do not stay past an appetizer. In fact those were bad too. You cannot take a tiny, tiny, edit biddy piece of shrimp and gloom breading on to it 9 times its original size, then hit it with garlic and... More

A great place for a casual meal right next to the water. Many seats have water views and a view of the draw bridge. The food selections usually include a number of inventive/non-standard items, as well as a few of the basics. Check out the menus posted outside. Prices are a little on the high side for a casual place,... More

This restaurant has excellent views of the Wood's Hole Channel. The fish tacos were spectacular. It had a great tasting sauce. The service was fast, friendly and paid attention to the details. The owner Paul has been a restauranteur for many years and it shows.

This chef has created a delicious aioli sauce to make these fish tacos uniquely delicious. We had a late lunch this week with four different menu choices and we each thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The service was great! It is definitely somewhere I will keep on my places to return to.
