Visited in September on a Saturday. Asked for ad got a window table. Had a beverage at the bar before we were sat. Food was good with good portions. Dessert was delicious. Great view with the doors open watching the ferries come and go. Reasonably priced. We'd go back !

Situated on Woods Hole Harbor next to the Steamship wharf you'll get see boats transiting Woods Hole passage and cruising in and out of the harbor. Add the view to a great cuisine and you have a very comfortable, seasonal restaurant. From filet mignon, to lobster savanna, to fresh fish, the menu has something for everyone. The rustic decor is... My husband & I ate here yesterday afternoon and loved it! We had a table at the open window/ doors right next to the water. Great view! I ate fish & chips, cooked perfectly! White fish with nice light batter & excellent French fries and slaw. My husband had Cajun swordfish sandwich. He liked it, but said mine was better.... More

We had a great dinner for my wife's birthday. We sat next to the window overlooking the water. The food was very good and the atmosphere was over the top.

The view of the hole for which Woods Hole is named is fabulous. The food is very nice but not spectacular, but the experience is very nice nonetheless.

The food here was just okay. My 2 year-old, who is not picky, said that she did not like her chicken tenders and fries. I had a seafood dish that was supposed to be served in a bread bowl, however it was not and no explanation was given. Everything was extremely over priced and I probably would not go back... More

Great water view. We had a table near the doors/deck with a great view of the harbor. At 3 pm, we were between meals so we had no trouble getting a table. Still it was a busy place. Lobster roll was good but not amazing and very expensive for the 5 inch roll at $20. Kids meals were 8 and... More

My title about summed up our experience (summer Sunday night). We waited less that a 1/2 hour even thought the place was packed. So enjoyed a drink at the bar (2 beers and a mixed drink $20) before being seated. Even in a full house it wasn't so noisy you couldn't hear the person across from you. Many old boat... More

The location is awesome. A great place for a great view but the food and service are merely average and the prices are far from average. The prices are absurd considering the quality of the food and service. The service is average at best. Young waiteresses that are competent but you would expect much more for an average of 30+... A busy weekday but were seated in a booth with a view through restaurant to sea beyond. Katy, our server , was lovely and really efficient. Food delicious. Kids menu good too.
