This is just what Woods Hole needed! Heard that the old Lee-Side had re-opened and decided to try it out on Saturday night. There were 5 of us and we started with a Charcuterie board. Very delicious! The great thing about the menu is that it has something for everyone - vegetarians included! Each person tried something different off the... More

The food is imaginative, very fresh and beautifully presented. All of this with a spectacular view! Please, please, please ~ indicate on the menu what items are gluten-free. I dine frequently in Woods Hole and would like to try so many of your dishes without asking questions about everything.

What a difference!! The new place is well appointed and the food is outstanding. Service was equally good. One of the finest mels I have had in a long time.

Thank you Russ for your kind words. I am laser cutting that sign for the bar stool with your name as we speak. We love hanging out with our customers, and cherish the friendships that we have with regulars. best, Beth Colt Quicks Hole Tavern 29 Railroad Avenue (across from the ferry terminal) Woods Hole, MA 02543 (508) 495-0048 More

Sad that it is closed having been a Woods Hole tradition for generations but the good news is that it has been purchased by the owner of nearby Quicks Hole and Woods Hole Inn. The owners have done wonderful things with the landmark Woods Hole Inn which had fallen into terrible disrepair, and we hope will do the same for... More

Thanks so much for letting everybody know that the Leeside is closed and replaced with the new Quicks Hole Tavern. There are many out there who are sad to see the Leeside go, so we appreciate your kind and hopeful words about the new business. We hope to keep the spirit of a neighborhood place where Vineyarders and locals like... More

Coming back from the ferry to Martha's Vineyard, I visited the Lee Side Sunday night right before closing. Staff was especially attentive; beer was delicious and their clam chowder wonderful for this New Mexican.

Stopped here for drinks before catching the ferry. During the heat wave- this is the place to be! Restaurant down the street, open windows and sweating patrons- no thanks! Bartender was so nice, and nice pours for our mixed drinks. Small little bar, clean, right at the steamship authority. Watch for your ferry to come in, especially if you missed... More

like: clam chowder and beer was good dislikes: the chorizo was too spicy and covered up the clam flavor in the stuffed quahogs ... plus, on top of that, they were oily ... both of us tasted them and left 90% of them the waiter/bartender never asked how the food was or why we did not eat them we ate... Anytime we are waiting to board the ferry to head home, we stop into the Lee Side! The staff is friendly, chowder excellent, bar menu has a wide variety and the beer on tap is varied! Any place with Murphy's Irish stout on tap is a great place to go! The juke box has a great selection of music, the... More

Beware :-) they just need a bigger bah here! This is an essential stop over coming or going on a ferry for one of a couple of reasons...some seasons it is the only place open, it is sitting there smack-dab across from the Steamship Authority you can't help but check it out, but also they have great bugers! They just... More
