Historic place for lunch

It's not often we enjoy lunch while sitting in an upholstered wingback chair. But that is possible at 6 Cafe. We enjoyed our lunch indoors on a very hot day. Not a foodie haunt but quality food in large portions at reasonable prices. We sat outside and found the service to be forgetful but would go again.

It's all about the salads, fanatstic. As Europeans we only need half the dressing, but luckily it is on the side, so no worries. Fast and friendly service (take it easy, we are in no hurry!) desert is more standard, less surprising. And people who follow my comments will be wondering about the coffee. I didn't even try! But if... More

Had a good meal while visiting Williamstown. Menu has a fair number of choices and the food was fine but nothing special. Service was good. Very convenient if you are staying at the 1896 motel properties. Very old New England atmosphere.

The '6 House Pub did a great job with the dinner for our 40th high school reunion. The food was very good. Breakfasts (included with our motel stay) were also excellent). Our group of 50 had a great time by the outdoor fire pit after dinner. Our only suggestion is to add a second bartender when there is a large... More

We had heard there was new ownership and decided to try it again. Everything was perfectly adequate - service a bit slow but nice, salad and entree came out of kitchen on top of each other so no time to enjoy either one. Probably will not return.

The duck confit was delicious! The waitress was pleasant and efficient. Comfortable indoors or out. A nice evening meal.

We try to stop here for lunch or dinner whenever we're in the area. The food and service is always good and the atmosphere, whether outside on the patio or inside, has always been relaxing.

First the ambience is very nice. Great place to eat both inside and outside. The are going for the antique look inside and the outside eating area is also very nice with a fire p it to keep the night chill away. The bar is a great old bar which appears to have seen a lot of history, unfortunately the... More

We enjoyed an outdoor table on a pleasant summer night. The menu is all-american eclectic. Buffalo burger was excellent. Good selection of wines and beers. Very good service on the patio. Easy access from all W-town locations.
