We went to the '6 House Pub for Thanksgiving dinner, and it was a delightful experience. The relaxed family atmosphere was very inviting, the waitstaff friendly and accommodating, and the food delicious (wish I could find their butternut squash soup recipe)!

This place could use a professional's touch both in the kitchen on the floor. Entrees were good, however veggies were over-cooked, over-buttered and likely from a bag in the freezer. Presentation was lacking on the plate. Waitstaff are young, inexperienced, dressed in unflattering tie-dye t-shirts and more concerned with sneaking peeks at their iPhones than maintaining a professional demeanor. Perhaps... More

Thank you for taking the time to write about the ’6 House Pub. We are glad you enjoyed your entrée, but sad that your overall dining experience was less than perfect. We really appreciate comments from diners because we attempt to use such comments in order to continuously improve all aspects of our pub, which is why we are one... More

This restaurant was a great place to go for dinner on a rainy evening as they had their fireplace going and even though we sat by a window, it was still quite cozy. Both my wife and I had more than enough to eat and normally we don't order dessert, but couldn't help ourselves this night. It turns out our... More

Have eaten there several times and keep going back when we are vacationing out here. Dining room has old country house charm. Service was very good and wait for food was not long. My wife had clam chowder and crab cakes, both excellent especially the chowder that was better than most places. I had raspberry chicken that was also excellent,... More

The food at the 6 house pub is impeccable. Generous portions at great prices, delicious drinks and great, attentive service.. Very cozy atmosphere... A must if you are visiting the beautiful Berkshires. The new owners are wonderful and very attentive to all guests also.

I had a fine steak, she had "the best L.I. duckling I've ever had." It was fabulous. Unfortunately, the service was the exact opposite of the food. Inattentive to the nth; inexcusable -- they weren't that busy. Too bad, because the food is great. But we won't go back there. Poor service really spoils the experience, no matter how good... More

Stopped on a whim while avoiding a long wait at another place. Was pleasantly surprised to find a table in the bar. Menu is wide and varied. Great choices-pastery wrapped Brie with a yummy sauce and chicken fingers that were home made and fresh. Mushroom Risotto delicious. Chicken parm, great. Fettuchini Alfredo was awesome. The final entry was the blackberry... More

We went to this renovated barn for a light dinner at 7:30 p.m. on a Friday, and found the place packed. No tables were available in the dining room, so we grabbed the only one left (high with two stools) in the bar. Its corner location helped muffle the noise and enabled us to have a conversation without raising our... More

Lots of yummy options! The lobster mac and cheese is delicious. I also loved the salted caramel crunch cake. So much to choose from! Our server was pleasant and I really loved the comfortable chairs!

What a surprise to see so many asterisks on the menu at The '6 House Pub, indicating gluten-free options! Not only that - the GF selections are very tasty! Non GF diners in my group were also very satisfied with their meals and drinks. This pub seems permanently read for New England winters with its cozy interior. Our waitress was... More
