What a surprise to see so many asterisks on the menu at The '6 House Pub, indicating gluten-free options! Not only that - the GF selections are very tasty! Non GF diners in my group were also very satisfied with their meals and drinks. This pub seems permanently read for New England winters with its cozy interior. Our waitress was... More

After touring the Deerfield River Valley all day from Rowe, Vt, Zoar, Charelmont, Shelburne Falls, Bridge of Flowers, Conway and back to Williamstown with my wife, her sister and husband, what better way than to dine at the '6. It was our first time there and we all agreed the drinks and meals were really excellent. Becky was at the... More

Just returned from dinner and do not usually write bad reviews but this deserves one for sure. Went to dinner early as we had been driving thru Vermont seeing the foliage and staying in Williamstown overnight. Arrived to a fairly empty restaurant and decided to just sit in the pub portion at the bar. We noticed the tender was running... More

Pub is part of 1896 Inn so the decor is appropriate to that time frame. It has a cozy bar with seating and a main living room with tables with winged back chair, captains chairs and benches for longer tables. We had a delicious meal, clam chowder was thick and tasty with lots of clams. The seafood risotto was perfectly... More

The 6 House Pub is located on the property of the very comfortable 1896 Inn. The restaurant is casual and comfortable. The food is excellent and the prices are fair. Good wine choices and value. Generous cocktails. Overall an excellent low to mid price restaurant.

I have been to the '6 House Pub for dinner twice. The first time the service was so painfully slow that we did not return for several years. I finally convinced my husband to go back, as the food was pretty good. I thought that based on reviews, and the fact that the restaurant always seems busy when we drive... More

Sat outside on a nice Saturday afternoon, it's near the road, but down a hill, so no road noise. Wife loved her plum/apple salad, my ahi tuna was really good, and a great price for the portion size. Son said his hamburger was good, but maybe not great. Crab cakes app was a different preparation than I've had before, but... More

We went here for a late lunch. Nice beer selection, friendly bar tender and good food. The cranberry walnut salad was very good. The woodwork is pretty.

a wonderful, authentic Berkshire county locale with a large menu, good food, good prices and service in a charming interior. Our first time here and the waiter, Zac was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient, a great combination

We met friends for dinner in Williamstown, we're the foodies and they're more mainstream, often gravitating toward the chains. I browsed online menus and chose the '6 House as a fair option for all, which it was. Their menu goes on and on, page after page. I'm always leery of a place that delivers a book-like menu, as you can... More
