good food, rustic atmosphere

We had, among the three of us, the house burger, a steak sandwich, and eggplant parmesan. Everything was uniformly delicious and top quality, right down to the sweet potato fries...although I didn't like the strong cinnamon flavor of the cole slaw, others probably would find it inventive. A friend... read more

Under the new ownership, the 6 House Pub in Williamstown, Massachusetts has become one of the finest dining establishments in the Berkshire County, Eastern New York State area. We are locals and have dined at this restaurant many, many times over many years and just prior to being sold to the current owners and on-site managers, it had deteriorated to... More

Our youth hockey team visited the Berkshires for a season ending hockey tournament, and our hockey family, 22 of us, had dinner together at this fine establishment. It's a real tavern with a comfortable, rustic atmosphere. We were seated in a separate room, which was perfect for us, the staff and other patrons. We were greeted table side by the... More

"American" cuisine, I guess, well-prepared and -served in a very cozy atmosphere. Patio tables seating in summer.

My salmon was very well prepared and the salad was fresh. My better half enjoyed his beef. Our friends are regulars, and they recommend the Eggplant Parmesan and the Scallops as well.

We ate here 2 of the 3 nights we were at the motel. The food was good and the restaurant has a cozy atmosphere.

Ate there two nights on our three night stay at the 1896 Inn. It was a cold wintery night so couldn't beat the convenience of walking next door to eat. Not that I would go there if the food wasn't good which it was. We got a very cozy table with comfortable wing-back chairs which was great after snowshoeing during... More

Whatever flavor their apricot for chicken wings was out of this world! I also went back a second night and got raspberry chicken and that was bangin as well!! Inside is old New England charm. Love the bar and the waitstaff. Love the outside fireplace too. Great place and value!

The 6 pub has really good food and drinks. The portions are really big so don't order many courses unless you can eat lots of food. The staff was pleasant and helpful.

My family of four made our second visit to the ‘6 House Pub at the request of our youngest son. This is our third year skiing at Jiminy Peak over the winter break and having had such a great experience before, we were keen to return to this upscale pub in Williamstown’s 1896 House Inn. One of the reasons we... More
