We met friends for dinner in Williamstown, we're the foodies and they're more mainstream, often gravitating toward the chains. I browsed online menus and chose the '6 House as a fair option for all, which it was. Their menu goes on and on, page after page. I'm always leery of a place that delivers a book-like menu, as you can... More

We have a timeshare in Hancock, MA and we have driven by this place so many times over the years. It always looked busy so we finally went in for dinner. We wish we hadn't waited so long to try it! The food was fantastic. I went with my husband and 2 teen kids. The place is so cosy...and old... More

Bar side or dining room the menu has many good choices. Outside seating is available with a fire pit. It has changed hands a few times but the two owners now have worked hard to create a varied menu in a local atmosphere for families, travelers, locals, or couples. Board games available for your use in front of the fireplace.... More

On a visit to the Willimamstown Festival Theater, my wife and I stopped by this restaurant-pub just out of town. What a gem! We had a wonderful lunch on the patio, reasonably priced, while thinking what a pleasure it would be to dine in the charming ambience of this old building during the winter. The meal was excellent, served by... More

We had dinner - food was very good. We tried to make a reservation but were told no reservations for 4 people. We arrived and only outside seating was available - which is very nice. Haddock was outstanding - probably 3/4 of a pound though, could be smaller serving - I ate it all because I felt guilty about leaving... More

We were a party of 8 and needed to eat quickly and get to Williamstown Theater in time for our show. The menu was varied and my wife ordered grilled salmon and I had fish and chips It was the best I have ever eaten. Everyone's meal was excellent. We made it to the show on time. We look forward... We were slow to pick up on the '6 House and I'm sorry it took us so long to try it. We had a great pasta dish with sausage and a delicious baked scrod. The food was fantastic -- perfectly prepared. Our server, Nicole, was charming and attentive. She recommended great choices and was fun. We didn't try the local... More

We had a wonderful buffet meal in a historic setting . The buffet was sirloin tips , fish and chicken. Very tasty and distinct in the way the food was made. We would enjoy going again.

We were so excited to try The '6 House Pub after seeing the menu online. To say the service was horrible is an understatement. While we were seated almost immediately, we waited over 30 minutes for someone to come to our table and take drink orders. My husband went to let the hostess know that we had not been greeted... We decided to try someplace new and to say I regret that decision is an understatement. After asking to sit outside, we were told we were in luck and there was one table left. We arrived on the patio to several empty tables, only to be put at the one that had no shade. It then took about 10-15 minutes... More
