Went here for breakfast after reading glowing reviews, maybe they were having an off day or hadn't had their first shot of caffeine. Server requires a personality injection and the food, well Ramsey would have a field day

I was not impressed. Menu is extremely confusing. Tables were not cleaned after the last party left. The table we sat at was disgusting. At least give us the tools so we can clean ourselves. There were no napkins available. Leaves that had been tracked in were all over the floor. We know where the bathroom is not but WHERE... More

I have been to Pappa Charlie's Deli five or six times over the last three years, most recently just after Labor Day, 2013. No matter who I'm with, the large selection of sandwiches, cutely named after celebrities and the soups hit the spot for all. After, or even before, touring the Clark Institute or shopping downtown Williamstown you can get... More

This popular self serve place is very reasonably priced- there are about 30 choices of great sandwiches ranging from 5 to 6 dollars with soups small and large between 3 to 4 dollars. Also good soup and half sandwich specials. Seating inside and out. Street parking which can get tight.

Busy, cozy deli with a huge selection of sandwich combinations. Soups and chili also available. Great for a quick bite.

While the sandwiches are not like those at New York's Stage Deli, they are named after actors who have appeared at the Williamstown Theatre. You can order breakfast sandwiches, homemade soups-the homemade gazpacho in the summer is very good and there are more daily soups. The sandwiches are good and they do have vegetarian sandwiches. The shop has seating however... More

We actually go to Charlie's regularly. Window shopping on Spring St. and needed a late lunch. All the great sandwich choices make it fun. If you don't see, it ask for it, they will help you out. Sat outside on a a pleasant summer day. Food is always fresh and prepared with care, no matter how busy they are. I... More

I have been dying to come back to Pappa Charlie's since my son left Williams College 25 years ago! Finally, finally.....back in the Berkshires, I convinced my travel mates to experience the best and most creative sandwich concoctions in the world as we headed for MASS MOCRA in North Adams. Infused with the usual crazy irreverence of a collegiate hangout,... More

Needing a quick lunch before going to the Williamstown Theater Festival, we stopped at Pappa Charlie's on Spring Street and were so glad we did. 30-40 different sandwiches named after famous actors who performed at WTF. Excellent fresh ingredients on specialty breads, very generously sized and generally less than $6! We shared a corned beef sandwich (no fat) that was... More

Great place , sandwiches named after Actors, Cool idea, Workers looked miserable both days. Left a tip in the basket ,both days and not even a thank you. Maybe that is why the tip basket was so empty.
