Where else would you stop for coffee on Spring Street?

On our regular visits to Williamstown, we always stop at Tunnel City at least once. The coffee is great, the service is friendly, and there are plenty of spots to study/work. On our most recent visit, it was a great spot to escape the unusual July heat. We sampled one of the carrot cake... read more

There are amazing cappuccini in cups or to go, all strengths of drip and beautiful pastries plus more edible items. Plenty of room to sit and enjoy. Ponder the art. Read. There are open windows and pretty plantings. If you like good coffee this is the only place in town.

Tunnel City Coffee is the best coffee I've had in the Williamstown/North Adams area. I always make a point of stopping here.

We had time to kill and it was raining, so we went in for coffee. My wife's espresso was mostly foam (that may be an attribute, but she was expecting more liquid). My coffee was so-so.

Great coffee and treats served with a smile...pleasant seating outdoor. Average selection as expected.

This is a very popular place on a weekend morning! But the line moves quickly and the staff is friendly. My coffee was good and I enjoyed my zucchini nut bread. Would highly recommend for a quick snack and coffee.

Although we read reviews about this great coffee shop prior to visiting Williamstown, we did not seek it out. Because Spring Street is the heart of "downtown" Williamstown we chose, instead, to base our choices off of the "butts in seats" test. That is, from our experience the best restaurants always have the most patrons or.... the most butts in... More

It can't be a college town without a place to get a really good cup of coffee. The lines can be long, but they move quickly.

Wonderful place to stop for fresh roasted coffee to purchase by the cup or the bag to bring home. Great pastries to accompany your beverage of choice.

Although the coffee was fine we were taken aback by the lack of service. Counter staff were not helpful and somewhat rude. Perhaps because they are the only game in town?
