Flavorful coffee and good chocolates are the key to our hearts. A nice break before going to "The Clark Museum". Friendly workers and a nice place to sit and read.

What a funky place in downtown Williamstown. There's not much around the area, but this place had a great set up with good snacks and tasty coffee which was just what we were looking for. I imagine when it's not winter (when we went) that it would be just lovely. It was still packed of course and we'll definitely get... More

OK let's start with I'm not a Starbucks girl. Peet's is the place I drink my coffee whenever I possibly can. So that is why I loved this place immediately. If you go to Peet's you will understand. Everyone is really nice and they always make a really great cup of coffee here. It never is burned, never is bitter...it... More

This shop is at the end of Spring Street and is the only coffee shop next to Williams Coffee. They have free wifi, great coffee and bake goods, and a mixed clientele of students and professors. Sunday mornings are best!

The coffee, tea, pastries are excellent. The ever changing art exhibit/sale on the walls are always great. Service always excellent. The exciting feel of being in the trendiest spot in town never goes away. In fair weather, sitting outside is lovely... in cooler weather the inside seating is a welcome respite from the elements.

Called in for a Bagel and a coffee. Great atmosphere with students talking, working on their laptops etc. Bagels were excellent.

Tucked down in the bottom corner of Spring Street you will find a wonderful, locally-owned coffee shop. Tunnel City has a surprisingly urban feel for such a small college town. During the college year it is busting at the seams with Williams students and in the summer and fall there are hoards of tourists eager for a latte or cappuccino.... More

We always make time for a stop at Tunnel City when we are in Williamstown. We love their coffee. The pies and quiche they serve are divine, as are all the baked goods we have tried. The atmosphere if fun and friendly. Love the open air seating when the roll up windows are open. Definitely a place to go.

My son and I were visiting colleges in the Northeast, and just for fun sharing notes about the quality of the coffee shops we found near the campuses. We ended going back to Tunnel City Coffee several times. The coffee was excellent, the ambiance in the place just what we wanted. After more than a half dozen campus samplings in... More
