Called in for a Bagel and a coffee. Great atmosphere with students talking, working on their laptops etc. Bagels were excellent.

Tucked down in the bottom corner of Spring Street you will find a wonderful, locally-owned coffee shop. Tunnel City has a surprisingly urban feel for such a small college town. During the college year it is busting at the seams with Williams students and in the summer and fall there are hoards of tourists eager for a latte or cappuccino.... More

We always make time for a stop at Tunnel City when we are in Williamstown. We love their coffee. The pies and quiche they serve are divine, as are all the baked goods we have tried. The atmosphere if fun and friendly. Love the open air seating when the roll up windows are open. Definitely a place to go.

My son and I were visiting colleges in the Northeast, and just for fun sharing notes about the quality of the coffee shops we found near the campuses. We ended going back to Tunnel City Coffee several times. The coffee was excellent, the ambiance in the place just what we wanted. After more than a half dozen campus samplings in... More

This cafe is a community hub in downtown Williamstown. The high-quality coffee and amount of space to sit and linger are what keep me coming back. I am particular about my coffee, and have never been disappointed. The prices for specialty drinks are a bit steep, so I just stick to the standard fare. I'd like to see the baked... More

Fun spot; lots of coffee and other drink choices and wonderful muffins and quiche! A little slow, but it was busy. They have a system; you just need to be patient. Be sure to make this a stop when you visit Williamstown.

This was once a cool New England coffee shop for doing a little work with a bagel and coffee but they recently covered up their wall outlets so you can't plug in your laptop, and this morning, after I'd driven all the way from Albany, they said they turned off the wifi. :(

During this past summer, we have experienced tremendous traffic in our store and it is a reasonable guess that up to 100 people, at a given moment, are attempting to jump onto our FREE Wifi service. WE HAVE NOT discontinued our Wifi. We have eliminated our outlets in the main portion of our coffeehouse because of several reasons which include... More

Saturday morning Farmer's Market is just across the street in the parking lot. We love to stop here first for a coffee and share one of their wonderful enormous muffins with our coffees. Yes it is crowded but it's the best coffee within many miles so it's worth the bustle that goes with so many happy people beginning their day... More

There's just something about this place that has an overall charming feeling to it. We have been in here more than once when in the area and have never had a bad experience. They have numerous drinks to satisfy anybody and also lots of pastries and goodies you can also purchase. I think it's slightly on the higher side of... More

Since Williamstown eschews chains, this is the place to go when you want your morning coffee or chai. It's busy and rightly so. It has comfortable seating for relaxing and enjoying your purchase and the drinks are very good. (can't say as much for the cookie my husband purchased. ice)
