Excellent, reasonable restaurant

We just had a marvelous dinner in Williamstown, MA. Coyote Flaco is a charming restaurant that offers fresh Mexican and Spanish food at very reasonable prices. Service was prompt and courteous with the owner checking to make sure all was as it should be. We started off with a carafe of Margaritas... read more

The roadside sign states " & Spain", so we stopped because I love Spanish cuisine. Neither the hostess or another waitress knew what 'paella' was..I asked what other Spanish dishes they offered and I got blank stares..they went to ask the bartender, returned and suggested that I talk to him...I didn't want to converse with the bartender about Spanish cuisine... Start with the fact that I'm not a big fan of Mexican food--probably because I've never had it this good! You can taste the freshness and originality. I had a tamal--the best ever--and the blue corn enchilada with mole. My wife had gazpacho and fajitas. We were both impressed.

Better than average Mexican restaurant featuring more than the usual enchiladas and tacos. We had skirt steak ranchero, which was excellent. Cooked exactly as ordered, though one of us wanted medium, the other medium rare. Someone in the kitchen knows what he or she is doing. Ditto for whoever is at the bar -- our house Magaritas were perfect. As... More

Thank you Trip Advisor - this restaurant was a real find. Wonderful Mexican food, beautifully presented. We love Mexican food and this was as good as you would get in much higher priced restaurants. Nice atmosphere and great services. Try the Coyote margarita.

We just arrived back at our hotel after eating at the Coyote Flaco and couldn't wait to write a very positive review. Everything from the friendly servers, the fun ambiance and delicious food was wonderful. We can't wait to go back!

I had high expectations, given the ratings on Trip Advisor (ranked the second best place in Williamstown) and YELP, but was very disappointed. The restaurant is pretty and nicely decorated, though they could have turned down the mariachi music just a bit. The menu is very limited: no more than 15 or so items in total, including specials. Chips were... More

We did not know anything about the area , but decided to eat here. Glad we did ! Service was great and the food was even better !! The avocado salad that came with my skirt steak was just wonderful. If we lived closer I would be here all the time

We eat at Coyote Flaco every few months when we need a margarita and Mexican food fix. The menu is more traditional Mexican than Tex-Mex, although they do serve fajitas. The service is always superb. The food is considerably more expensive than similar fare in other parts of the country.
