This is a don't miss spot for breakfast in the area. Wide variety and we tried some of everything in our group. Generous servings, reasonable prices and friendly, attentive service. Would definitely go again if ever in the area.

Staying next door at the Villager Motel and came over for breakfast. We got just the basics eggs, sausage, toast. Saw a huge plate of hash-browns on a table next to us and thought - hmmm - might be too much. The waitress saw me and said "Can I get you a half serving?" YES! Excellent. Ended up with the... More

Despite the seemingly full parking lot, our party of three was seated immediately by a cheerful gentleman who greeted us warmly. Our beverage order was taken at that time and the beverages arrived within seconds. An enthusiactic waitress answered our questions including a realistic assessment of the turnip muffin and took our order. We ordered a variety of dishes including... More

Had lunch here and it was just ok. Nothing special. Salad was very plain. Iceberg lettuce and some tomato slices. Would not go back

They only serve breakfast and lunch. I had Caleb's special which was 2 eggs, hash, home fries and holidase sauce........... YUMMO!!! The staff is so friendly and personable. They even have a food challenge if you eat the whole plate within 30 minutes you get a free meal and a shirt with your picture on the wall. Wonderful food and... More

My husband and I have just returned from Italy and he wanted an American breakfast. We went to the Chef's Hat in Williamstown which we had enjoyed at other times. It was very crowded but a table was available for us. My husband ordered the 2+2+2 which included 2 buttermilk pancakes, 2 eggs, he chose scrambled, and bacon instead of... More

As another reviewer has said, this is where the locals go. It is not down on Spring Street, but just north of town on Rte 7 toward Bennington. Don't let a full-ish parking lot turn you away. There are lots of tables inside. We were there for lunch...a BLT and a turkey club. Basic, very tasty and inviting one to... More

We saw this reviewed on Trip Advisor and offered on Restaurant.com and decided to give it a try for lunch. Breakfast is their other big meal. The place was hopping when we arrived, but managed to secured a booth. They have a large selection and very nice staff. There is even a 12 egg challenge for $16.00. If you can... More

We stopped for breakfast before we went to the Clark Institute and enjoyed our food and speedy service. Wife had an omelet while I had eggs on their yummy homemade corn beef hash. The service was good and the coffee was flowing. Nice stop and when in the area would stop back again.

This used to be a great breakfast place but it has changed over the past few years and now it's pretty mediocre. The ingredients used are not top quality. For instance, an order of sausage links brought brown-and-serve type sausages. The bread used for rye toast seems straight from the grocery store. They also seem to use margarine instead of... More
