Seversal of us ld Williams colleagues, including my old roommate, four former faculty (including the former president and one of my professors) get togetyher every Wednesday to discuss worl and college affairs. We selected Water Street Grill because the sevice is prompt, the foodv excellent, and the price very reasonable,(mine ios less than $10 for seafood.

While on business in Williamstown, I ate at a great historic bar and grill. We had lunch, and the food was excellent. Great service from a great staff. Nice atmosphere was not load and noisy but was pretty full for lunch. Great historic building with great food. Highly recommend this place for a nice quick lunch.

If you like paying $9.50 for a small glass of wine that the bartender sniffed to determine if it was good or not... be my guest. More a pub than a restaurant. Don't go here expecting a great meal. Have no idea why they're still in business. Much better food, drink and ambiance to be found anywhere else in town.

This is a popular, crowded place. The evening we went they had entertainment. The group playing was too loud to carry on any meaningful conversation. Food was average, but the service was quite good. Ambience was good but crowded.

Forget the overpriced and pretentious taproom up the street from Water Street Grill (at Hops and Vines with its rude bartender). If you are a beer aficionado, stop in here and have a great, reasonably priced pint. Best is the Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale, which is even more delicious from the tap than from the bottle! Also on tap are... More

My husband and I arrived very late into town, starving. Water Street was the only place open on a Sunday at 10:30 pm that still served dinner. We had two excellent salads, with shrimp. Very moderately priced. Good service, and comfortable seating.

This was one of the places recommended by the innkeeper where we stayed. This looked like a more comfortable and affordable place for us. We really likes the ambiance of the place and were pleasantly surprised by the diversity and style of the menu offerings. We had steamed clams and mozzarella/basil caprese appetizers both of which were great, although we... More

We enjoyed the fun pet friendly patio area of this brew-pub. The local beers are good, as is the kitchen's offerings. Love the fried green beans.

Good food, salmon was fresh, salad was great, beef was well stewed. Excellent service; not good wine though. Prices $$.
