During our Thanksgiving visit to Williamstown, MA, my wife and I stopped for lunch at the Water Street Grill. It seems we have to stop at least once. As in past visits, we had glasses of cold draft beer. I had a burger and my wife had a salad with chicken. The food is good and filling. The atmosphere is... More

Again, warmth of welcome was key when I was a Sandy Refugee who couldn't go home because of tree-covered roadways. But the beauty and generosity of their food amazed this time, when I brought a first-timer to Williamstown. The hamburgers were not only savory and juicy, but had a beauty worthy of this artful region. The salads were of the... More

We ate here for the first time on a Wednesday about 7. It’s an interesting old building on the outside, but nothing special on the inside, a combination of pub and fish house with nautical decoration. It wasn’t crowded but took a few minutes to be seated, then service was slow ... but pleasant. Three of us had chicken sandwich,... More

It was a bar with good food, an institution in Williamstown. We had burgers and they were wonderful! Would definitely go back. The atmosphere is that of a bar and a bit dated, but the food makes up for that.

My wife and I stopped here for dinner after fall foliage drive in VT and visit to Mass MOCA on nearby North Adams. It is our preferred place to eat in Willaimstown. They are open 7 days a week (we had a dinner on Sunday), and the food service extends well into the later evening. The menu is extensive and... More

A cozy bar just outside the mainstream of downtown Williamstown. The grill has a variety of good menu options from pub food to a full course dinner. They have a good selections of beers on tap (my favorite is Kentucky Bourbon Ale). The staff is friendly and accommodating. If you ask for a variation in their menu, they will try... More

This restaurant was recommended by the motel we were staying at. We are so glad we took their advice! Wanted just a quick bite and a brew after a long day of hiking. Ordered the Thai shrimp appetizer and it was simply amazing. Came with five large shrimp and the best salad I have ever had in a restaurant anywhere.... More
