When planning our trip to the Berkshires for vacation this year, my boyfriend and I immediately singled out Mezze as a must-go dinner spot. And we were not disappointed! It was one of the best meals we've had in a long time. Expensive, yes -- but it was well worth the money. The atmosphere was romantic and very intimate. Our... More

This rating should be 3 1/2, but it doesn't quite merit a 4. The food was good, some of it very good, but overall it doesn't compare to the very good and excellent restaurants we're used to in the Boston area. (The duck confit was very good, the mushroom and fried potato appetizers were good, and the meat/kale pasta dish... More

The tone was set when we entered and I felt like I was interrupting the person who seated us. The food was good but not really special. The wine list was also good but quite pricy compared to other places we ate in the area with better food. Our server was the exception as she was very attentive. Next time... More

This charming restaurant in the Berkshires has excellent food and attentive service. I had the hanger steak with potatoes. It was really delicious with a wonderful sauce which had parsley and mint in it in a lovely presentation. My husband had a terrific pasta with sausage, kale and other interesting flavors. The portions were a reasonable size and the noise... More

Repeat visit to the Berkshires called for a repeat visit to Mezze with absolutely delicious food and drink. The menu is mildly limited - 5 or 6 entrees - but I always prefer fewer high-quality choices. I think it's always difficult for a waitperson to gauge how fast (or slow) you want to take. We had no other plans for this... More

We had a 6 pm reservation on a Monday evening. We did not experience the service problems others have described. Our service was attentive and prompt. We ordered only main entrees: no starters, desserts, or alcohol. Our Arctic char was tender and tastefully served over ratatouille. Our mushroom oricchiette pasta was likewise flavorful. Not being purists, we would have preferred... More

Three of us gave this place a shot on a Friday nite with no reservations. We sat quickly and the food was sublime- great focaccia with a tasty Spanish olive oil, two kale salads and a watermelon tomato gazpacho. Mains were two of the best pastas I have ever tasted, and a yummy sea bass. For dessert we had peach... More

Mezze continues to be the very best of the choices we have visited in Williamstown/North Adams. The space is so lovely and tables are spaced so that the noise level remains low and the roominess feels expansive. And the real reason to come is the food. We are always having a difficult time choosing among many interesting and ultimately tasty... More

This was great in every way. The service was efficient and gracious. The food delicious and fresh. Best of all, the tables are far enough apart to keep the noise level down. Also helpful are huge sound sbsorbing panels. Mezze does everything right!!

This restaurant has changed location and lost its uniqueness: The menu is very limited, less innovative in terms of ingredients and less service-oriented. While the menu sounds interesting, with unusual sounding ingredients, the food is ordinary. My Tile fish was well seasoned, but the mix of cruciferous vegetables were overcooked. My 3 companions had a pasta dish that sounded very... More
