Repeat visit to the Berkshires called for a repeat visit to Mezze with absolutely delicious food and drink. The menu is mildly limited - 5 or 6 entrees - but I always prefer fewer high-quality choices. I think it's always difficult for a waitperson to gauge how fast (or slow) you want to take. We had no other plans for this... More

We had a 6 pm reservation on a Monday evening. We did not experience the service problems others have described. Our service was attentive and prompt. We ordered only main entrees: no starters, desserts, or alcohol. Our Arctic char was tender and tastefully served over ratatouille. Our mushroom oricchiette pasta was likewise flavorful. Not being purists, we would have preferred... More

Three of us gave this place a shot on a Friday nite with no reservations. We sat quickly and the food was sublime- great focaccia with a tasty Spanish olive oil, two kale salads and a watermelon tomato gazpacho. Mains were two of the best pastas I have ever tasted, and a yummy sea bass. For dessert we had peach... More

Mezze continues to be the very best of the choices we have visited in Williamstown/North Adams. The space is so lovely and tables are spaced so that the noise level remains low and the roominess feels expansive. And the real reason to come is the food. We are always having a difficult time choosing among many interesting and ultimately tasty... More

This was great in every way. The service was efficient and gracious. The food delicious and fresh. Best of all, the tables are far enough apart to keep the noise level down. Also helpful are huge sound sbsorbing panels. Mezze does everything right!!

This restaurant has changed location and lost its uniqueness: The menu is very limited, less innovative in terms of ingredients and less service-oriented. While the menu sounds interesting, with unusual sounding ingredients, the food is ordinary. My Tile fish was well seasoned, but the mix of cruciferous vegetables were overcooked. My 3 companions had a pasta dish that sounded very... More

Although the menu is not extensive, each dish is perfection, and most are in the farm-to-table tradition. We started with sharing the octopus, and my husband had the pork loin while I had the garganelli pasta with a pork/lamb ragout, with kale. I do not eat kale, but this was a perfect component. The sauce tasted as if it had... More

We had dinner before the theater. When we called we were told not come before 6:00. Traffic was light and we were there a little after 6. Still, we were seated and service was helpful and timely. I had an usual main of grilled squash with a sauce made of chopped up duck sausage and bagel--very tasty. My wife had... More

Arrived on time for 6:45 reservation. After 10 minutes, we asked a waiter who walked by to help us find our waiter. He said he would and offered to take our drink order. After another 5 minutes, no drinks, no waiter. Asked the maître d', who walked by, to please find our waiter. After another 5 minutes, we got up... More

Slow unprofessional service. Way overpriced for the quality of food. It was a three star experience at five star prices. Much better choices in Williamstown.
