Pretentious prices, pitiful plates.

We like the Vines side, and especially when they have changed up the menu. It's a quiet, comfortable, classy place to meet up with friends or have a nice couples evening. Lots of local products offered on the menu.

I really want to like Hops and Vines. It's one of only two upscale restaurants in Williamstown, and it has a great beer list. So it pains me to report that last week's dinner easily earned a spot on my 'bottom 10" list. The problem was overcooking. The flat iron of beef seems to have been cooked for the better... More

Stopped in for late lunch/early supper on Saturday. Attractive setting, good service. Wonderful seasonal mixed drinks, and good beer selection on tap. Menu before 5 pm was extremely limited, mostly snacks. However, they DID offer a hamburger with fries. At $17, seemed extremely overpriced, but we ordered it anyway. It. Was. Worth. Every. Penny! Wonderful beef, cooked to perfection, with... More

Came here spontaneously for lunch. First time here, and we'll definitely be back! We sat in the "Hops" section of the restaurant, server Moira? was excellent! She was very knowledgeable about the Beer selection. Food was slightly overpriced but very good! Also love that they are open for lunch!

We would not return to eat here. The food and drink are overpriced and what was intended to be a fairly casual dinner turned out to be the most expensive of our 2week trip to New England. The food is OK, but not worth the asking price. In addition I found the service to be over-the-top in what came across... More

Great place to meet up with friends. Beer selection superb, wine by the glass list is small but fine. The food, however, is pretty average and the food service is quite slow. It's really just a beer and wine gathering place.

A couple weeks ago, we had a fabulous dinner at this restaurant. My mother loved the monk fish, my scallops were divine, my husband thoroughly enjoyed his skirt steak frites, and my father (who is not easy to please) loved the oysters! Highly recommended.

I've been to Hops&Vines a few times for both lunch and dinner and have never been disappointed. The lunch menu has great salads and sandwiches and the BEST burger. All of the dinner options are fresh, creative and made with local ingredients. Don't miss out on the chocolate torte! The atmosphere is fun and it's a great place to hang... More

We stopped at the restaurant during a recent visit to the Clark Museum. We enjoyed the restaurant very much. The staff was very pleasant, they honored our reservation on time, we ate outside on a delightful evening, the food was very good and the atmosphere delightful. The vegetable flan was a wonderful dish. I would recommend this as a casual,... More
