Very pleasant place

This is an attractive place in Williamstown. There is outdoor seating in a front garden with couches and a fire pit, and indoors there are two rooms: one with nice daylight and rustic art on the walls and the other a bar, complete with dart board and TV's, but also not dark. Two of us shared lunch... read more

Food quality, service, ambience in the garden hard to beat. My second visit and superb both times. Hard to understand the negatives. Jealous competitors?

I've been many times, because there aren't a lot of choices in Williamstown. The food is poorly prepared, and the restaurant badly run. It's a shame because the setting itself is very pretty. Examples, from many meals: oysters served warm with many bits of shell in them; cheese plate with bread soaked in greasy slightly rancid butter; popcorn so salty... More

Fun modern colorful art-filled place (formerly Mezze which has relocated to large space 5 miles out of town). Great knowledgeable waiter). Great $5 Margharitas wonderful Reisling, good dip for table sharing. Wonderful fish & chips & lobster role. Riccotta & asparagus pizza a tad TOO much but otherwise a great comfortable lunch.

The food and wine were excellent. We especially liked the halibut. Nice atmosphere with a lovely outside patio area.

absolutely gorgeous gardens and terrific service. had a designer cocktail that was amazing and my husband had a virgin Pomegranate Margharita that was tart and flavorful. arrived at 230pm and just wanted snacks but was told that there was a $5 fee for us to share (seemed ridiculous as it was a quiet time there and we were buying pricey... Had lunch at this establishment and enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. The salad was nicely done. Two separate dining areas, one with t.v. and the other quieter.

A very nice gastropub atmosphere with just a bit more than bar food. What was offered was quite good and with very friendly service. Beer and wine lists are excellent and their specialty.

Went to H&V after theater with local friends. The waiter, genial enough, had been on the job for 2 days and it showed. He knew little about the menu except what he read from notes, forgot things, and entrees were missing when served to some of us! The manager made up for things by comping part of the meal --...
