The Purple Pub has been the place to gather in Williamstown since 1973, serving lunch and dinner 7 days a week. Whether you're looking for traditional pub food or delicious entrees, we have you covered. Patrons can drink and dine at the large mahogany bar or in the comfort of the semi-private dining room. Come watch the game on one of our large screen televisions or enjoy a romantic dinner with someone special. Don't forget to try one of our 14 draft beers (we have bottled beer too), served in a frosted glass.

Awesome Service!

The Purple Pub was in a great location. Although the temperature was cold for sitting outside it was worth it. Inside was loud and crowded. Our group was large (7) but the waitress could not have been more helpful. She seated us, served several speciality drinks and took our order in no more then... read more

The food is perfectly fine and basic pub food. The prices are basically okay, but some things tend to skew towards overpriced. Quality of food is very average. But look, it is totally a fine place to get a burger. AS LONG AS you have nothing else to do that day. Over the last 3 years, I have eaten here... More

There is always sports in the TV's. I like that about this place. The food is really hit and miss. If it is screaming busy, it will not be that good. The service is also hit and miss...mostly miss. This town really needs a nice pub. This one has a nice atmosphere, but it is missing other key ingredients.

Potential remains good but in my dozen or so visits, wait times have always been long. At their price levels, service really should be better organized. Probably understaffing / weak time-training in the kitchen since the servers are OK. Due to the usual loud pub acoustics (no dampeners), better to dine outside.

Excellent casual dining. My wife and I came for the relaxed atmosphere and superb pub food. Wide selection of burgers, wings and salads. Service is excellent. In particular, our waiter, Jon, was attentive and friendly. Impressive that he accurately took our order without writing it down. Great selection of craft beers on tap, too.

Nice selection of beers. We were graciously guided to perfect seats to watch our preferred game. Special kale salad. Ok. Lobster roll OK. Nice atmosphere more important than food that night. Good service, not rushed.

Food was very good and the service helped to make this a worth while visit. Generous portions and very tasty so all in all, four happy customers.

Been several times now, great location, lively atmosphere, great for few drinks at the bar, however, I recommend eating elsewhere first as the food is FAIR at best, especially for the price.

Not a bad place for a sandwich, salad or a beer. I had the grilled salmon sandwich and it was just OK. The fries however were under cooked and barely warm.
