The Purple Pub has been the place to gather in Williamstown since 1973, serving lunch and dinner 7 days a week. Whether you're looking for traditional pub food or delicious entrees, we have you covered. Patrons can drink and dine at the large mahogany bar or in the comfort of the semi-private dining room. Come watch the game on one of our large screen televisions or enjoy a romantic dinner with someone special. Don't forget to try one of our 14 draft beers (we have bottled beer too), served in a frosted glass.

Tasty Burgers and Paninis

We stopped here for a late lunch. We were drawn to the patio seating and the fact that it was set back off the road, was open air, and had a friendly, relaxed vibe. One of us had a burger and the other had a panini - both were tasty. They had a fairly long list of beers from which... read more

I am very fond of chicken wings and fried onion rings. The Guiness BBQ chicken wings and fried onion rings were probably the best I have eaten. I ordered the wings without bones,so there was a good deal of meat. The portions are large, so it is like a whole meal.

Lovely indoor space, attentive service, great outdoor seating area. You can actually hear yourself think in both. Again, not Williamstown's best but clearly popular with students

This place did not have one of the higher ratings on TA so we didn't consider it until.....on a 90 degree day we are walking around the downtown area and find that many of the restaurants DID NOT have air conditioning on! Wow! This place did. The Purple Pub is a neat little pub that seems to cater to the... More

We were looking for a place to eat after visiting the Clark for the Van Gogh exhibit. We drove around and picked the Purple Pub. We sat inside to relax in the air conditioning and it was nice and quiet in the early evening on a Sunday. Our cocktails were delicious and refreshing. I had the Huckleberry Lemonade, as recommended... More

Nice Pub with outdoor seating. Went for wine before dinner at Pera and it was fine. Nice vibe. The dishes we saw going past us look very good. Picked Pera based on TA reviews. In retrospect, I think Purple Pub would have been a better choice.

We came to see a show at WTF and searched a place to grab a bite in the area --- this was the perfect spot! We sat on the bar and the service was fantastic. The food was good too and the atmosphere was fun! We'll be back :)

We were skeptical about going to the Purple Pub after reading so many negative reviews. However , we had excellent service & all three of us enjoyed our meals. Our waitress Jenna was very good. She was attentive and efficient. Our dinners all had individual requests and she got them all correct. The food came out in a timely manner.... More
