Pretty good food, independent movie atmosphere

This is a go-to place for us - we like the pastries, the bagels, the sandwiches and the pizzas are excellent and inventive. Nice place to kick back to get a bit of work on the wifi while enjoying a treat. On Saturday nights, there can be some good local bands -- a bit of folk or Celtic is the... read more

I stop here often to buy a loaf of bread. My favorite is the sesame but all the breads are delicious. My problem is not buying any of their other fantastic baked goods like the sticky buns or one of their delicious dense cakes. I also love the cheddar scones. Great pizza, especially their unusual specials. If I am being... More

Saw a review in the local paper about this place about their pizza. It did not disappoint. I had a white pizza with sausage, kale, and brussel sprouts. My boys had plain cheese. Nice ultra thin crust. I brought a pecan roll home and it was one of the best I've had. Staff was friendly. I'd stop again and try... More

The restaurant / bakery is a nice fined for the local hill towners and for the people who come up from the valley. My wife and I have been there several times and we have not been disappointed; except for when they are out of our favorite sandwiches. Which just goes to show that they put out a good quality... Had a yummy breakfast sandwich on a biscuit with vegetarian sausage (they have the pork variety too). We were there on a cold morning so we ate inside but they have a patio area that looks like it would be nice on a warm day. It is always lovely to find independently owned eateries with good food tucked away off... More

Found this place, with the help of friends, and enjoyed a mid-afternoon snack that pleased us all. Caesar salad (upgrade with a LOT of chicken for $2), chocolate croissant and coffee for another, pepperonni pizza for a third and a fabulously interesting brussel sprout, caramelized onion and guyere quiche for the fourth member of our party. What variety, and somehow... More

We wandered into this place because we were starving after doing a little hiking in Ashfield. We were overwhelmed by the incredible selection---From quiches to soups, salads and pizza----YES, PIZZA! We stood there stupified trying to quickly decide what to order----And you know what? The servers were so chill, and not a bit edgy that we were struggling to decide,... More

Whether you are traveling east or west on Rt. 9, this bakery/cafe is worth the stop for some very good sandwiches, and some even better artisan bread.

We stop at this nice bakery every time we go between Williamsburg and Northampton on Route 9. Big selection of freshly baked bread and other goodies. Salad and sandwiches are on the menu. You can sit inside or out. People working here are friendly and helpful. They were willing to cut our bread in half and then slice only half... More

I love their fruit & nut scones. They are what a granola bar could be. I stopped for a sandwich to go. It was good and came out quickly. Wish they had more gluten free. They have booths at local farmers markets.
