My daughter (age 2 ) is allergic to eggs and nuts. We went to get ice cream one evening this summer and the girl who was helping us asked someone else (older woman, manager type ) if they had these particular allergens in their ice cream and she responded with a sharp yes. I asked which sorbets or yogurts would... More

Very good ice cream. downfall no Jimmies? We would go more often because it's the best ice cream on the south shore, however they don't serve jimmie's or sprinkles. it doesn't bother me because the ice cream is so good, but the rest of the family wants the jimmies and sprinkles.

The best ice cream on the south shore…….Best orange sherbet, unfortunately no sprinkles though. Get to see the cows outside. Brought home ice cream, eggs and milk from the farm!!

This place has the best ice cream around. The girls are super speedy and one of the most polite I have ever seen. All the ice cream is made out of the Whitman location. Large parking area and parents and kids visit the barn and see the cows. They also have a store. They have so many flavored, it takes... More

I've been coming to the Peaceful Meadows in Whitman since I was a kid. Its like a tradition. They have great homemade icecream and tons of flavors to choose from. Its nice that after you get your order you can walk the ground and see the cows onsite and even check out the barn. Parking can be tight but have... More

Peaceful Meadows is an historical landmark in Whitman. People come from all over for their delicious icecream and other treats...along with seeing the cows!!!

If you want a large variety of creamy, homemade ice cream by the cup or cone or even a thick shake, this definetely is the place. FYI - this is not a restaurant for food or snacks, only ice cream. Seating is limited and only outside so most sit in or stand by their cars.

A friend and I tried the ginger ice cream (monthly special) and found that it still had a strong taste of vanilla, which is not how either of us like it. My husband tried one of the chocolate flavors, and while certainly acceptable, it wasn't as rich and flavorful as other area homemade ice cream places. Also, the smallest size... More

It's been decades since I came here. I was disappointed that the cows were not there. The ice cream is good but flavors are limited and no toppings are available (jimmies). The price is comparable to other similar ice cream places. I think I will stick with Dairy Twist in Pembroke though.
