Our company Christmas Party was on a busy Saturday night (12/13/14), and our party of 9 enjoyed drinks, appetizers, salads, scallops, filet mignon, pork sizzlers, and veal parmesan. This was followed by strawberry shortcake, pies, ice cream, and caramel covered chocolate chip ice cream sandwiches. The food is consistently good and plentiful, some took doggie bags and dessert boxes. Always... More

When I go to Greenfield to visit my mother, this is becoming one of my very favorites spots for dinner. We had a birthday dinner for my son here last weekend and it continues to be great. The food is exceptionally good and portions are generous. The wine list is very good and the prices are very reasonable. I love... More

Last night I went with a friend to the Whately Inn. The place is kind of pricey but worth the money. Just wish I could afford to go more often. I had the lobster savanna and it was delicious and a large portion. I've been there many times and never had a bad meal. An appetizer, salad, coffee and dessert... More

Very nice eating experience. Service and food was excellent. All inclusive price is a nice feature. No one hurried you but service was quick. Bonus-all the ladies receive a rose on departure.

Yet another fabulous trip to the Whately Inn. We drive over an hour six or seven times a year to dine at the best country inn on the planet! From the pate to the clams casino, the appetizers are fantastic. The baked stuffed shrimp were fantastic with perfectly cooked shrimp topped with seafood stuffing. My favorite is the prime rib,... Just returned from an anniversary dinner at the Whately INN Have heard very good things and did enjoy our meal. There was a mix up with our credit card and another diners but were able to straighten it out. Price was reasonable for the amount and quality of our food. Would try it again.

This is a well intentioned restaurant, I am sure. It is quaint and very "New Englandy." The all inclusive price bodes well for good quality food since overhead is more controllable..... But we are so glad we went on a gift card --because the food was pretty near hospital cafeteria food quality. Their "famous brown sauce" drowned the flavor of... More

A wonderful old style New England restaurant. The food is fabulous. You can get the old-time favorites as well as new & creative entrees. All plentiful & delicious! The staff is very friendly & attentive. One of my all time favs!

Been a few times and was back there last night. Its a unique experience in today's culinary landscape; A soup to nuts dining experience that covers bread, salad, a small app/soup and meal w dessert. The food is always good with a leaning towards red meat /seafood. The scallops / bacon app that we added to the meal (a la... More

This place doesn't merit good reviews. It's simply a dated throw back type place with a menu that offers foods seriously out of date. Lots of creamy saucy stuff. I agree with the review that says the food tastes like it came out of a can. No crisp fresh veggies there, that's for sure. The place was packed when we... More
