We have been eating at this establishment for a number of years. The food quality is wildly inconsistent, and the staff often appears apathetic at best. In terms of the food it is a dinner so at times it is good, yet others it has been horrendous. However, the service over the years has been some of the worst I... More

Good place to go for breakfast. Food is consistently very good, have been going here for over 20 years. We started going when it was a an old diner and the food has still been good and the building has been completly gutted and rebuilt. Pretty good for lunch as well.

My wife and I go to the Diner for breakfast once a month for a treat. The food is excellent and the owner and her staff make for a really friendly experience. The pancakes and Eggs Benedict are very good.

Wow. This was bad. If your claim to fame is breakfast all day then you should probably be good at it - given that you get so much practice. Omelette was completely uncooked inside. They just threw a bunch of raw tomatoes, cold slices of cheese and precooked bacon inside. Cheese was just a cold congealed slab. Toast was dry... More

I have been eating at the diner for a year now and the staff is great and so is the breakfast, I find I can not go back for the way phyllis treats her employees. she is very nice to patrans she finds it necessary to yell and belittle her servers witch I find rude and uncalled for . I... More

We have been patrons of the South Street Diner for years, even before their move to the "new" location. We're now empty nesters and this provides a perfect gathering spot. We particularly enjoy the economy of the BYOB dinners enhanced with a bottle or two of wine. Breakfast is also quite well done with typical diner fare. The waitstaff has... More

I love this place. Friendly owner who meets and greets everyone. My favorite is going there for dinner on Thursday or Friday nights (only two nights they are open for dinner). Killer shrimp Caesar salad for $9.99. Love the panko crusted haddock. My wife loves the prime rib. My favorite lunch sandwich is the Turkey Rachel. And as a BYOB... More

I've come here several times for brunch while visiting family and we've always had a great time. The decor is nice and the food is inexpensive but high quality- I really liked their Philly cheesesteak omelet. The only drawback is that it's cash only and sometimes gets crowded.

A nice restaurant, plenty of tables, nicely decorated. The menu has lots of options, including quite a few veggie options. On my visit, the food was very nice and the service was excellent. I recommend this restaurant to families, couples and friends looking for a good quality breakfast in nice surroundings.
