Harry's " one of the few places serving dinner past midnight " bills itself as "the place for fried clams," and the claim's legit. The clams (both with bellies and the sacrilegious strips) are tender.

A classic roadside place to eat

The seafood is great. It is like the restaurant is on the Atlantic shore, not 35 miles in land. You should try the fried clams.

Great old-school diner with a "fried is a food group" philosophy. My favorite is not fried, however - - the pastrami reuben. Often jammed at lunch time on Saturdays.

Don't expect great décor at this small diner on Route 9. But do expect great food. A huge menu with lots of sandwiches, salads, burgers, and entrees. Very friendly waitstaff who enjoy talking about the history of the diner which goes back many years to the current owner's father. Dinners were all good, obviously fresh, and piping hot. Looking forward... More

I love Harry's. I've been coming to the restaurant for almost 30 years and I am never disappointed. There's something for everyone on the menu AND they serve breakfast all day. There are not many places that do that anymore. The wait staff is wonderful! They make you feel right at home. If you are looking for that classic diner... More

Fried clams. Fried chicken. Fried Onion Rings. Fried Fish. Fried French, uh, Fries. This place is an institution. Or so tell me the older folks I work with that have lived in the area their entire life. I can see why, you get a lot of fried food, regardless of what you are asking them to fry, and it's all... I stopped in recently and ordered a "Harry's Great Combo Platter," which consists of clams, scallops, shrimp, calamari, haddock, onion rings, and coleslaw for $24. I was really impressed. The clams were some of the best I've ever had. The batter is sweet and very flavorful. I was really hungry so I also got apple pie with vanilla ice cream.... More

I enjoy going to Not Your Average Joe's with my guy. The food is always good and the wait staff are always friendly.

My wife and I have been eating at Harry's frequently for many years. We are on a first name basis with most of the wait staff and find the service prompt and friendly. We have breakfast there more often than any other meal (they serve it at any time of day) and it is always very good. I do think... More

I've made several trips to Harry's unique diner. This is the sort of place that some of us had OUR parents and grandparents take us to when we were kids and sometimes when you have a good thing going, you get there EARLY!! because the lines form. There is just one thing I do not understand how they can have... More

This diner was recommended to us by the clerks at Julio's Liquors just across route 9. It's a small diner. The food is very good. I had a corn chowder and the meatloaf with mashed potatoes. The food was good and the portions large. I also had a chocolate frappe to drink--yummy. My wife had the crab & lobster bisque... More
