Whole belly clams are awesome and cheap- plenty of em. Lobster roll is loaded! And filling. Delmonico steak is huge with plenty of sides. Servers can be rude as hell sometimes! Despite the servers the food is always hot and good, I keep going back. It's always busy so be prepared to wait a little while. Pub atmosphere. Wish they... More

We ordered the lobster rolls, one with fries and one with the coleslaw. The fries were average, the coleslaw was good. There is a very generous portion of lobster on the new England style hot dog rolls. The rolls were not grilled with butter which is how I typically enjoy them. The lobster was ok seemed like it was prepared... More

We visited the popular restaurant recently on a Thursday evening, party of 3. Checking in with the hostess we were told just a few minutes to be seated. The seating options are 2-seat tables or 4 person booths. We watched as several parties of 2 walked right by the many vacant 2-seat tables to take booths. After 40 minutes of... More

Famous for their lobster rolls but they have other good stuff too. The other night my boyfriend got a scallop roll for $7, it was a good deal and yummy! Always busy but I can see why. We never wait long though.

This is a popular pub. The food is very good, especially the fried haddock and the lobster roll. The prices are very fair and the service is very good. The atmosphere is very much a pub. There are 3 big screen TVs with sports playing. It's usually busy but the wait isn't too bad. Payment is cash only, no credit.

The best and biggest Lobster Rolls anywhere! We often get them to go because it's so packed on Friday and Saturday nights there.

Townie restaurant - everyone knows everyone. Very friendly!! Quick service. Food is average tasting. Good prices. Usually a wait but staff turns the tables rather quickly. Very homey atmosphere.

We went to JPs around 6 pm on a Friday night. The place was very busy and the bar was packed. We put out name in for a table and stood by the bar and had a drink. One bartender for the entire bar, so it took a few minutes to get a drink, but this was acceptable because it... More

We were craving comfort food during holiday shopping and stopped by JP's for a bite. It is a semi-dark pub with a lot of locals hanging out watching the T.V.. The food was decent-the service was prompt and you can't complain about the price.

This is a great locals restaurant. Good bar, good food, great staff; fast and courteous. If you're looking for an upper scale modern restaurant with good wine and 30 beers on tap go elsewhere. But if you want just decent food (not great but decent; except for the lobster rolls which are exceptional) you won't be disappointed. Most of the... More
