Go for the chowder

The chowder was the highlight of the meal. The steak tips were just okay and nothing special. I tried a stuff shrimp because you can add one on to your meal. It was good but not great. The food came out fast and this place is used to getting people in and out fairly quickly. Go as early as you... read more

Not just my opinion, they've won contests for this area for many years. Other entrees look wonderful, but I cannot resist getting the most delicious chowder I've ever had. The place is always crowded, but you can sit at the bar and order a bowl. Worth a drive if you are anywhere near...you can even order online.

Captain Parkers was great!! My friend and I went here for first night of dinner on our girls trip and we could have easily eaten here every day! We started out which drinks which were priced very well. We had chowder which was AWESOME! I had lobster with mashed potatoes which was pretty good and my friend had the dijonaise... More

Had the pleasure of dining at Capt. Parker's Pub on our latest trip to the Cape. Couldn't be happier that we did. A ton of places claim to have the best chowder, or be triple crown winners or whatever, but Capt. Parkers delivers on the claim and my whole family will attest to their's being the best we've ever had...just... More

The chowder was the best I have ever eaten! The service was fast and friendly. This place was hoppin'. They have Keno and my niece won $100.00. She was excited. We enjoyed our time here.

Outstanding clam chowder a bowl with some bread would be a meal! A one hour wait but we grabbed a table in the bar. Lobster roll was also excellent.

Our inn's receptionist recommended Captain Parker's - "it's not a tourist trap" - and we were glad to have heeded his advice. The clam chowder, creamy and chunky, was absolutely delicious. Service was attentive and the atmosphere was very chilled and relaxed. If you stay near this establishment, I don't see why you shouldn't drop by for a meal.

Very good pub fair reasonably priced for the cape. Often win chowder awards. Try to go once whenever I'm in the area.
