A good catch!

This is the 2nd time in about 3 years my wife and I have eaten here. The atmosphere with the fire place is romantic. The clam chowder was outstanding! Worth the drive. The fish and chips was delicious and so plentiful that I took a doggy bag with me. This is one of the few non-seasonal seafood... read more

We have been going to the Cape Cod area for decades and Cap. Parkers Pub was one of the favorites on the trip. The food is fine and the chowder is an awarding winning triple crown winner but a little thick for me. The part that really has turned our family to other locations is the service. One is greeted... Captain Parker's is a true Pub restaurant. We waited at the bar for about one half-hour for a table. The drinks were good and the atmosphere friendly. The food was good with adequate portions, but not gourmet (but we were not expecting that). The menu is very comprehensive. I would dine here again. Very comfortable atmosphere.

Came in for lunch and were seated right away. Wife ordered fried sea scallops and I ordered a side of whole belly clams as an ap (hit the spot) and the yankee pot roast which was perfect, served with butternut squash (again with with maple syrup or brown sugar), fries and cole slaw. My wife's order however was not to... More

Decided on a spur-of-the-moment trip to the Cape for a long weekend in search of clam chowder. Front Desk staff suggested Captain Parker's and we weren't disappointed! Hubby had a bowl and the ribs which he loved. I had a cup and the mate's cut of Prime Rib which was very good. Service was prompt, food was hot and delicious... More

The only good thing about this restaurant is the new england clam chowder. The service was horrible and it was only lunch and not busy at all. It does have a nice outdoor seating area with firepit.

Pretty typical Cape Cod restaurant but with very large portions and surprisingly good in a beefy kind of way. .This is more of a man's place I felt, extensive bar area, several rooms but not a place particularly for the older ladies. If you want a varied menu, somewhat pricey for the atmosphere, but with large plate-ful portions, and no... More

VERY good chowdah and excellent seafood. Hoever, don't expect a "quiet evening out" for a relaxing dinner. Quite noisy. But if you don't mind the bar scene, this place offers good food at a good price.

Heard about this place from the front desk clerk at my hotel. Arrived at 515pm thinking there would be a long line but I was wrong. Upon being seated right away we were told about the early bird entree specials which run from 330- 530pm. I picked the broiled nantucket cod entree which came with rolls, salad, mashed potatoes, a... I had been craving a Fried Clam Strips platter for several weeks and finally decided to go where I had them before. I was tempted to order other food, but I was on a mission. I had the Clam Chowder....good, very good and the platter. Size-wise the portion was humongous, a mountain of clam strips. Taste was good, but a... More
