Yes its touristy, but its so cute.

Vegetarians beware. Its all sides. Crappy cole slaw, mushy corn on the cob. There is a passable pasta that the chef was willing to add veggies to, so that was nice. And a big greek salad. But the atmosphere is fun, classic Cape Cod. And if you eat fish, everyone seems to really be enjoying it. And... read more

We had asked for a recommendation for a restaurant where we could get lobster, and the Lobster Boat was suggested. My friend and I have both had lobster before, but I've never had a steamed lobster that needed to be taken apart. It was quite the experience! I'm really glad I was wearing the bib! Our servers were fantastic -... More

Ate here 3 times during our stay in Cape Cod. Shared the Cape Cod fried platter than includes a steamed lobster with hubby on the first day we ate there. All I can say is that it was a heaping platter of freshly fried seafood and a delicious lobster. On our second visit, had their Cranberry, Walnut and Lobster salad.... More

Unfortunately we dropped in for dinner, because we missed to make a reservation in our favorite restaurant. The atmosphere of the rooms is the one of a canteen, the table and chairs were were greasy, the service was very unfriendly, and the quality of the food reduced our appetite remarkably (all the four different dished were of the same poor... We were on a coach tour of the Cape and the Lobster Boat was the designated lunch stop so it was with some trepidation that we entered this establishments. However, we were pleasantly surprised. The welcome was warm, we were seated immediately at a window table looking out on a small harbour. The restaurant was clean, neat and tidy and... More

Yes it's a tourist trap. But hey, the lobster is good! Of course, I've only been here off season so keep that in mind. Service was fast, friendly and accommodating. A note to vegetarians out there, be warned...you have to get sides if you want a meal. Corn on the Cob, French Fries, Coleslaw. Probably a terrible experience if you... More

Arrived at the Cape late Friday of Columbus weekend. Went here specifically because we had a nice lunch in June. We were one of only a few cars in the lot while other restaurants were busy. Ordered chowder and baked seafood trio. Had to ask for silverware after meals arrived. Had to remind waitress that I ordered chowder... It came... More

My daughter and I were visiting the cape in late September for a mother-daughter weekend. We were staying in Falmouth but drove down cape to visit some of our favorite store. While in one store, I asked the sales person where she would recommend for a good lobster meal and another customer suggested The Lobster Boat and she agreed. It... More
