This restaurant is pricey. However, there is a $15 menu from 5:00 to 6:00. The food and service was excellent.

Calamari is wonderful, great prime rib and fresh lobster. Excellent service! A nice bottle of wine and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. A great evening to start off a great weekend.

My wife and I had celebrated our 35th wedding anniversary at the Yarmouth House many years ago and fondly remembered the romantic dinner. Twelve years later we revisited the restaurant to celebrate our 47th anniversary and couldn't rekindle the same experience. The the service was very pleasant and courteous, our meals didn't live up to the standard that we remembered.... More

Place is expensive which is fine if the food matches the price. I went with my parents, wife and my kids. Kids really enjoyed their food, but the fish and chips had uncooked batter in my mom's meal and my own. They replaced both meals and still had uncooked batter. I returned mine again and they gave me a prime... More

Went here for an anniversary dinner with family. Arrived late (around 9.30pm) and there were only a few tables occupied which was good because we got a table straight away and were served very quickly. The menu is varied and we made the mistake of ordering 2 starters to share between 4 (calamari and mushrooms) - portions are generous and... More

We had left Hyannis on our way to Falmouth looking for a place to get a bite for lunch. This restaurant looked interesting and had lunch specials. It looked pretty formal when we walked in and we waited a few minutes for the hostess. She took us to a well lit spacious dining room and seated us by the window.... More

This place is an institution in West Yarmouth. On first appearance, you'll second guess yourself as to whether you should eat here. You'll feel as if you stepped back in time as the decor is from decades long gone. Lots of separate dinning areas and yes, there is a watermill inside the front window! Typical diner dinner menu. Prime Rib,... More

Our hotel had a list of nearby restaurants which included the Yarmouth House. We chose the restaurant because it was within walking distance of the hotel. We had the Italian sausage & risotto cake appetizer, the veal with mushrooms special and paella with lobster. The appetizer and veal dishes were very good but the paella with lobster was excellent -... More

We went for lunch. The food was great and it was a lovely setting. It is a little more upscale but the prices was not bad.

Lovely restaurant! We sat next to the water wheel in the front. Romantic and relaxing setting. The staff was friendly and accomodating. I had the filet mignon and my husband had steak poivre. Both were cooked to perfection. The warm bread with the seasoned oil was a nice start! Shrimp cocktail was 3 super jumbo shrimp, very fresh. I enjoyed the... More
