Plenty of Vegetarian Options

I always find the service here awkward 1/2 the time and very friendly and personable the other 1/2. The food is tasty, fresh, and delicious. The atmosphere dark and soothing. Pintu's is extremely solid. Not only is Pintu himself there most of the time, but the flavors he brings are always bold and flavorful. I have been coming here for many years, since they were at their older location. Most of the time I come for dinner or take out but recently I have been visiting during the lunch buffet... More

We always have a great meal at Pintu's. We've been eating at Pintu's for years, both evening meals and afternoon buffets. We prefer it over the Indian restaurants in Northampton, so whenever we're down in Springfield, we like to eat at Pintu's. The veg. samosas were great, as was the chana masala. The service was excellent, and Pintu always stops... More

Nice to find a restaurant with good food after ending up in a dive hotel. Service was a tad slow but staff was friendly and the food could not have been better! I would return here if were visiting the area.

The new space is such an improvement -- room to move, a separate bar, lots of parking. And the food could not be better! Pintu himself is wonderfully friendly and welcoming. This is the best Indian restaurant in western Mass.

My family has been enjoying the food at Pintu's for years. It is hard to find better Indian food in the area, or along the East Coast. Everyone has their favorite dishes, but we all recommend the Masala(chicken, lamb, beef, mushroom, or any other option). I also love the naan; try the coconut naan for something a little sweeter with... More

Pintu's weak spot is the service, its often crappy bordering on really frustrating. It is a bit expensive and, since they moved to the new location, has been pulling the "if you want papadum you have to order them and pay for 'em" game, which I find annoying. Regardless, the chutney's are not their strong suit, so I'll pass on... More

Always love coming here when I'm in the mood for Indian food. The samosas and chicken karara to start are amazing! For entree I always get the chicken tikka masala which never disappoints. Make sure you get the naan bread to soak up the tikka masala sauce. The garlic naan and chicken naan is my favorite!!!!! Thank you Pintu

But then again, maybe you will if you have ever been to a good Indian Restaurant. This restaurant, run by a man who is gentle and sweet, needs a good cook. The decor is good, the bar is busy and noisy, the guitarist is adequate. The food? It is so far from any food you will get in India that... More
