Pintu's weak spot is the service, its often crappy bordering on really frustrating. It is a bit expensive and, since they moved to the new location, has been pulling the "if you want papadum you have to order them and pay for 'em" game, which I find annoying. Regardless, the chutney's are not their strong suit, so I'll pass on... More

Always love coming here when I'm in the mood for Indian food. The samosas and chicken karara to start are amazing! For entree I always get the chicken tikka masala which never disappoints. Make sure you get the naan bread to soak up the tikka masala sauce. The garlic naan and chicken naan is my favorite!!!!! Thank you Pintu

But then again, maybe you will if you have ever been to a good Indian Restaurant. This restaurant, run by a man who is gentle and sweet, needs a good cook. The decor is good, the bar is busy and noisy, the guitarist is adequate. The food? It is so far from any food you will get in India that... More

The food was cold, rice was not fresh and there was too much cream. Food has been better on other occasions but lacks consistency and is over priced.

When this restaurant was in its smaller location on Elm St., I loved it. I just finished what may have been the worst Indian food I have ever had. The Navratan Korma was obviously a bag of frozen vegetables tossed into a commercial grade bulk sauce. There was absolutely no flavor at all to the sauce. It tasted like plain... More

My wife and I went to Pintus the other night for dinner. Our expectations were high based on other people's reviews. When we entered the restaurant the was no greeting of any kind except one question: "just two?". They sat us next to the bar after we specifically asked for seats away from the bar (there were seats in other... More

Pintus moved from the Elm Street location to it's new location which has been any number of failed restaurants before it. Good news is that it is a lot larger and we didn't have to wait. It's convenient for a quick dinner before going to the Majestic theater. Convenient location. Standard food but was under spiced (no depth of flavor)... More

This was our first time in the new Pintus Indian Palace and it will probably be our last. The decor is dark and tacky. We were met, not greeted, by a woman who seemed completely disinterested in her job or her customers. Pintu was not in the restaurant and perhaps that mattered. We started with a Chicken 65 appetizer. The... More

Pintu's is a date night staple for my husband and I! The food is amazing and we have not had anything but good service! The lamb tandoori, chicken saag and chicken curry are out of this world and we could eat the buttered naan by the ton. Can't wait to go back!
