I come hear every year when visiting the Big E grounds for a trade show, and always enjoy my meal here. Portions are good, and the food itself is well prepared.

On the grounds of the Big E An old style ambience with great comfort food at reasonable prices. Don't need an app. As there is a relish bar and the meals are of generous portions

I love to go to the Big E fair in September, but usually eat in the state buildings, so this was my first time at the Tavern. We had lunch and it was very nice...just a quiet, relaxing atmosphere in an interesting building. Good food and pleasant service. What more could you ask for?

We've there 4 times in the last two months. The food is excellent; a Turkey Dinner that will rival most Thanksgiving Dinners; the Yankee Pot Roast that can't be much better; and a seafood casserole that my wife raves about. Solid bet for a good home cooked type meal.

We have an attachment here. We were married at the church in the Storrowton Village. Storrowton Tavern did the catering. We visit the Tavern several times a year, great meals whether we order the original Yankee meals, steaks, seafood or Italian dishes to die for!

A large group of friends got together for dinner. Our waitress was kind and working hard. There was some type of competition going on @ the grounds. There were rude, intoxicated patrons yelling at our server. I started off with a French Onion soup, which had the essence of onion with brown water. My Alfredo was watered down and lacked... More

We chose to go to this restaurant for New Year's Eve because they had booked a '50-'60s local rock band and we like dancing to that kind of music. They had a small snack table with cheese, fruit, veggies and dip, which were OK and stuffed mushrooms which were great. This was followed by a usual selection of buffet dinner... More

Sunday night 4 of us went to the Tavern at 5:30-6:00. We were seated right away, there were only four other people in the dinning room. The food was good, but the service was awful! Not the servers; they only had two servers for the dinning room and the bar area. We had get up and ask for our drinks,... More

I hadn't been here in years and thought it would be a festive place for lunch with a friend. It wasn't decorated for the holidays at all, was cold and shabby. My friend ordered a Cape Codder sandwich which was supposed to be turkey and cranberry sauce. It was very dry and had maybe a teaspoon of cranberry. I ordered... More

A group of 8 of us had dinner reservations for last Saturday night. We arrived a few minutes before our 6 pm reservations and were seated quickly. It was a long wait before our server even greeted us, even longer for drinks and 50 minutes for our salad and bread to arrive. We have eaten here many times during the... More
