We sat and waited for 30 minutes, Tony our waiter never approached our table, we spoke to Roberta the hostess, she assured us she would have Tony come over and take our order, another 15 minutes went by and even though Roberta came in and out of the room and Tony still had not waited on us. When I went... More

Had a great afternoon at Storrowton Tavern....love the old building and the awesome bar...feels like an old New England home, just like it was supposed to! Food was alright, but nothing to get excited over. Reasonably priced, but not really a "New England" style place...didn't really have a good selection of seafood! The room we were in was really warming... More

I didn't choose to be here it was a business event. Terrible service, dirty, staff smelled like cigarettes (they were smoking just outside), terrible flavorless food and a waste of money ... What an shame that any owner should be so arrogant to lure people and treat them with such disrespect ... Like we should be so worthy to be... More

We had a group of thirteen and the service and food were both very good. They have a good selection of craft beer. Save room for dessert, the peanut butter pie is as great!

During the Big E in 2014 I took my family to Storrowton Tavern for dinner on September 26th. There were only two tables in the dining room with customers at the time. Service was horrible. There were four adults and my great-granddaughter who was 3 years old. After waiting for our food for 1 hour 10 minutes, I went to... More

I have had lunch at the Storrowton tavern a few times over the past few months and each time it was good. All 3 servers were very nice and very good. I ordered something "off the menu" one time and they were happy to oblige.

My family wanted to take me out to dinner for my birthday and not having been to Storrowtown Tavern in a few years...and remembering good things...I chose to go here. Our visit was on Saturday 12/6/14. Let's start with the good: It was nice and warm inside. So many times older buildings like these and restaurants in general can be... More

Not the special place it use to be. Ever since it became land locked within the Big E grounds it is not the same place. However the food is good, the people still make the place. It's not my first choice but I would rate it good, but not exceptional.

I believe in constructive criticism that includes a possible solution to a problem. I called the owner of this restaurant where we have eaten before to tell him that a meal of roasted duck that was served to us was so overdone and dry that it was almost unedible. Because we were with a group of out of State friends... More
