Living off past rep.

It is living off an old reputation. Storrowton used to be one of the best....not any more. The quality of the food and the service has dropped but the prices haven't. It is not terrible but not worth the price

Back in the day, my parents used to love eating dinner here on their own or with their friends. As kids, we considered ourselves lucky when they wanted to have a family dinner here. It was always very classic, simple New England food (meat & potatoes or seafood). My father, now elderly, likes food that is prepared simply - not... More

Long a favorite of visitors to the Big E, Storrowton Tavern is an excellent option during the off season when the fairgrounds is less crowded. Service is professional and discrete, the food is well prepared and authentic and the atmosphere is not to be missed. Highly recommended when you are in the area.

What a nice, clean and well-kept piece of history! The food was good and they have a nice selection of draft beers. Comfortable both inside and out, but the three times I ate here during my weeks stay in the area, I experienced slow service. Not sure if they had not been told that a couple major events were happening... More

Wow! So much food - in a colonial setting. Frank was an excellent waiter. Definitely worth the trip, but go hungry.

Enjoyed lunch there. Very quaint and comfortable. Our food was slow in coming but was very good. I would definitely eat there again!

The building is part of a recreation of a colonial village, which makes it a cozy place to dine. There is an interesting menu with good food and large portions, a bit overpriced. We ordered Chateau Briande For Two, which requires a six hour advance notice. This experience was not enjoyable, our waitress complained about help, our orders and timing.... More

We sat and waited for 30 minutes, Tony our waiter never approached our table, we spoke to Roberta the hostess, she assured us she would have Tony come over and take our order, another 15 minutes went by and even though Roberta came in and out of the room and Tony still had not waited on us. When I went... More

Had a great afternoon at Storrowton Tavern....love the old building and the awesome bar...feels like an old New England home, just like it was supposed to! Food was alright, but nothing to get excited over. Reasonably priced, but not really a "New England" style place...didn't really have a good selection of seafood! The room we were in was really warming... More

I didn't choose to be here it was a business event. Terrible service, dirty, staff smelled like cigarettes (they were smoking just outside), terrible flavorless food and a waste of money ... What an shame that any owner should be so arrogant to lure people and treat them with such disrespect ... Like we should be so worthy to be... More
