Unpleasant Service

Dorset Tea and Coffee is a cozy clean little space. Visited the cafe for the first time and was not familiar with what they offered. I've visited this shop now about 6 times over the past 2 years, mainly for their GF breakfast options such as GF waffles. The waffles are nothing special, but then again I don't usually expect much as a celiac. The side of bacon is most always old, dry and only half warm. I can't tell if it is some sort... More

I won't go back to the Dorset. We used to go often but finally had enough. The food is good (the prices are outrageous). But I have never seen someone so unfriendly working at a restaurant than at the Dorset. If you're not happy to serve me than I am more than happy to take my money ELSEWHERE.

Surprised to be the first to review Dorcet which has been around for several years. The café is located directly across from the Wellesley Hills train station. The café serves breakfast and lunch fare with good coffee and teas. Sandwiches are fresh and better quality than the usual grinder joints around if a dollar more. Nice baked goods. Pretty atmosphere,... More

This is a tiny cafe with an uncluttered style: nice blonde furniture, white plates, a calm mood. It is not my local choice, however, because the prices are high for what you get.

I met my best girlfriends here for a catch-up coffee and snack. It's super easy to miss this little spot because the sign is barely legible from the street. Fresh squeezed OJ and a gluten free treat made my morning. The staff is a little bit cold, but the warm, cozy atmosphere made up for it.

Don't stop here if you want pleasant service or delicious food at a reasonable price! Adequate food, congested tables and RUDE owner makes for sour lunch location. Never again.

The staff had a hard time figuring out our very basic order. Also seemed a tad annoyed that we wanted cold drinks not hot. Scones were fair and they charge extra for lemon curd if you want it along with clotted cream and jam...unlike in the UK where you can have it all. Expensive for what you get. Lemonade was... More

It's no accident that Yankee Magazine has awarded Dorset with a "Best in Massachusetts" Award. The best food and drink can only be enjoyed in an ambiance free of the mad rush of the day.You will find both here; small enough to be cozy and large enough to be comfortable, and everything is only the best. Perfect if you're alone,... More
