We love Comellas. It's simple, fresh and quick. Last night we had a pizza with ricotta and pepperoni- the pepperoni was thinly sliced and very fresh, the ricotta was soft and pillowy, barely holding it's shape but retaining it's warmth. They are very friendly on the phone and in person. I would agree with other reviews that the pasta dishes... More

I live close by and frequently enjoy a dish of lasagna for less than $6 - can you believe that? My other favorite item is their large cheese pizza for $5 plus tax - but it must be a take out item. I especially like taking it home and enjoying it with a homemade salad. The quality is good and... More

I love the consistency and ease of this place. Everything is always exactly perfect. I could eat bowl of their sauce. Everything travels well and we get a lot of takeout here. Portions are generous. Orders are always correct.

If you want a $5 pizza, look no further than Comellas. There isn't really much to this Comellas (small location) but you can sit outside if the tables aren't taken and the food is great. The only reason I took off a circle is because nearly all of the many times I've been in there the front staff seems annoyed... More

There is nothing super special about Comella's. It is just better than the other greasy pizza places in Wellesley. The five dollar plain pizza is generous and a super buy. I have found the other items less appetizing. The pasta dishes are too heavy and the salads have too much dressing, a common problem.

It is understandable why this chain has so many locations: the food is tasty, plentiful and cheap. The "home cooking" style can not be called "cuisine" and those looking for low cost/low fat options might not be happy, but this is an easy way to feed a crowd (or make a "single" serving go a long way).

The pizza (and messes and sandwiches and everything at Comella's is great. The atmosphere is cute, but the food takes a long time whether it is for takeout, or to eat at Comella's. but it is worth the wait!

This place is definitely you get what you order. The names on the menu are fun. The food is great. The portions are for two people. Best when it's a cold rainy night. I love their sun dried tomato sauce!

Comella's is well known for the $5 cheese pizza, which seems to be the main draw for families I know buying pizza there for takeout. Great place to buy large quantities of pizza for after-kids-sporting-events. Pizza is okay, but not outstanding.

Famous for their "messes", pans of different kinds of pasta and meat and their good sauce, this place has only one or two tables and it is best to get it "to go". Pizza also, the whole family will enjoy. They have fiercely loyal fans, we think they are okay and a fast food alternative.
