Stopped for lunch. This place has deep Greek routes so had the Gyro lunch. It was a good lunch with a large salad on the side, albeit just iceberg lettuce and a few pieces of cucumber. No dark greens here. The Gyro was good and tasty and freshly made. This is like an old fashioned local joint that could easily... More

Old fashioned family run restaurant. Hard to find these family run all day breakfast places around Boston. And talk of value for money. Everything on the menu is under $10 !!! Plus the service is gentle yet fast paced.

The local coffee shops are always full and social. Magus food is always great. The family that runs it makes you feel like family. Hide in a booth and have a private and quiet conversation. Sit at the counter and feel like you have gone back in time. Family, business meetings, out with a friend - it all works here.

restaurant experience I have ever had. I ordered a veggieburger. Leaving aside the lackadaisical service, I received a flat burger (origin Costco...I buy them in bulk myself) on a generic roll and two pickle slices. That's it. no mustard, mayo, lettuce, ketchup, cheese option, onion...nothing. all for over $7. Never again.

I used to frequent the Maugus restaurant (not by my choice) and every time we'd be met with slow & unfriendly service. Keep an eye on your bill, we've been over charged several times. If you want my honest opinion, just skip it.

We were visiting town and were looking for a good spot to have breakfast; we found it at Maugus. It is a nice little Greek inspired restaurant that serves everything fresh to order. We enjoyed the Greek accents, friendly staff and family atmosphere. The food was pretty good as well. The blueberry pancakes were chock full of blueberries. The coffee... More

The atmosphere is cozy and family oriented. It was a great place to take 3 hungry teenage boys and their dads. It was the day before Christmas that we visited Maugus in Wellesley, MA. The menu is generous and reasonable. The six of us were well satisfied after stuffing ourselves on regular fare of waffles, eggs, and sausages.

Asked for coffee refill three times and over an hour before our breakfasts were delivered. The waitresses were mostly standing around while dirty dishes were left on the table for a longtime.

My boyfriend took me here because it was his favorite place to grab breakfast before work through high school. It was a nice cozy ambiance that when inside that made me think I was up in Wolfboro, NH near lake Winnipesakee. The place was packed though so getting in and out in an hour like we needed was going to... More
